Im not sure he was saying anything in a way that needed to calm down?

I am winning my league at walking pace. It's disappointing. I couldn't be bothered to work on another promotion escape. I've said it before, I found it harder to lose points in my league than to win them. There was no real challenge and therefore, the gap between Division 2 and Premier is as wide as ever. And I am talking about the best marks Division 2 out of all 3. I can see the potential of some of the teams but I can also see how badly they manage their business. Some "external" advice on our forums didn't help at all. I just hope more of us will be able to see and adjust. I also hope my statement will upset some so much that they get their act together and improve.
I wished them all good luck on the division forum and I am sure I will see them again soon. I doubt I have enough for staying in the Premier.
PS: cheerleaders are usually excited.

There's a strange and unfortunate situation across most of Level 2 where you have this combination of good trainers with poor tactics and poor trainers with good tactics. I do think in some aspects that things are improving, the team ratings seem to be going up but it's the tactical side that seems to be an issue.

The lack of planning is the real issue. Shakespeare is going up with a squad of 30+ years old. If it wasn't for Chuck, Division 2 will be holding the record for most over 30 years old players bought. Not even game changing players. Just players that would've easily been replaced by young players from academy in a couple of seasons. I know someone like to say about me that I make no progress and I am not good at this game. But what does this say about the others?
We talk very little about tactics. It's all about transfers, skill sums and all that.

I've never gotten tactics to work. This seasons campaign is a confirmation of that. Despite out rating teams, I still lose, so I gave up trying and turned my attention to just training under 22yos!
@camus, I think a proper tactic page is needed :)

If someone could explain how JE beat me on the 23/06 by 3 goals to 0, despite my side out-rating them or another example is on 4/08 against the Stiffs.
I had a superdivine striker in decent form missing penalties and chance after chance.
For me, it doesn't make sense. I must be doing something fundamentally wrong, tactically.
This is partly why I'm losing faith in SK. I just don't believe the game works fairly.
The only guarantees you can have is training.

Many years ago I had a tactics tutorial for this game on Youtube. Wish I'd monetised the bloody thing, it had over 100k views by the time I quit.
I don't think there's too much wrong with your tactics to be honest. You got screwed in the game that caused you to give up and were the better team. I think the issue was mids played with ATT orders.

Are those YouTube videos still up as I might go and watch them :)
It's not only those two games that I mentioned, it's others too. The game against the Stiffs is were I thought sod this game, I can't be @rsed any longer!
I cannot see where my tactics are so wrong it's causing such ridiculous results. I have to be doing something fundamentally wrong to be losing say 1-5 to Boston Polish as another example. We had very similar ratings but the scoreline massively varies. It's not even close.
I'm over it as I've resigned myself to only concentrating on training youngsters, as tactics just don't work for me. I enjoy training English youngsters too, so I'll be OK plodding along in div3 :)

That account got deleted a long time ago. I don't think you'd gain much from it, it was more for new users.
To create a new video that had any value would be difficult. It'd be 20 minutes long and would require me explaining what I'm doing, and I hate my voice.
What I could do is create something using captures.

First thing you already do better is that you want to change something. And this is already a big step. Obviously not many of us will want to give away tactical secrets but the fact that you will focus on something that went wrong with your team and you want to put it right is huge. My advice: stop that rotating system that you have in place for the sake of training. You can achieve good training and results in the same time. My squad is now 2.4 mil more valuable than at the start of the season. I have registered 24 pops in the last 6 weeks.
I don't really get the fascination about number of pops on this forum, haven't seen it in any other country
It doesn't matter how many pops you have, it only matters how many important pops & after how many weeks you get.
I've got 9 pops this week, 20 in last 2 weeks, 29 in 3 weeks, 38 in 4 weeks, 45 in 5 weeks... so I would say that rotation does matter
But back to the point, many of the pops don't matter (striker for def or mid) or are significantly less important (no point comparing stamina pop to pace pop, same with comparing low level pop to 3 and high level pop to 15)
And at Camus' level of progress I would DEFINITELY recommend that he concentrates on getting young players at least 96% training, you're giving people really bad advice

I don't think it's a fascination, more a quirk. Any kind activity on here is a good thing.
Some good advice would be to only fill 8 places in the advanced training slots I would assume?
Most country forums don't post about much at all, it encourages activity - this isn't really a negative thing.

Yeah I get that, thing is in most countries people rather show the skills of player and how he improved, after how many weeks etc. not just write "6 pops here, could've been better" as that's well... not telling much. 6 pops can be bad, it can also be amazing, depends what kind of pops are we talking about.
For example among good pops I've also got this week:
+1 in striker of a midfielder
+1 in technique of a goalkeeper
+1 in playmaker of a goalkeeper
+1 stamina
couldn't care less about those. well the stamina is useful, but it happens ever 6-8 weeks anyway, so who cares.

I had all 10 filled, no idea why it shows only 8. Possibly because I sold 2 players that trained back then in those weeks.

I'm not saying it's negative, it's just interesting that there's concentration mostly on the number of pops each week, not what the pops actually were like in other countries.
And it doesn't really make sense as a basis to give advice on not training optimally, because "look I got some pops"

Just in case: Chuck used a rotation system that clearly affected his results and his position in the league. Have a look for yourself. Hence my advice. By doing this, he wanted to get the most training for his youngsters. He is now relegating to Div 3. His morale is low.
I agree that the pop thing is silly when you have a squad that is rock bottom on skills and players pop very quick. It's not my case. I was only trying to tell Chuck that I still got a good number of pops on high(er) level of skills and still got the results.
Keep up.
