Cousens sale ends in 10 minutes. At 600k I think he might be a little overpriced for my liking.

Thursday 10th

I like that everyone is keeping hold of their quality youths, but it does make these updates incredibly boring. There's been pretty much nothing in 3 weeks.

Saturday 12th

Finally, something worth looking at.
Levi Bishop (20 att), Kane Chapman (18 Mid), Lewis Burke (20 Def), Neil Carruthers (17 Def) and Russ Meyers (16 Def) are all worth a look.

I listed Pete Bellingham for a few minutes but then I changed my mind. And also lost £12,500. I am going to try to make something out of him now the defenders go for over-inflated prices on the market. Both my new academy players have defender potential, also both could be made into strikers (probably a plus for Beardsley).

Chapman does look good and I actually asked his owner why is he selling him?

I imagine it's the pace with Chapman. I'm hoping it's going to keep his price down.

2 factors: pace and the fact that 2 really good juniors were already promoted this season. Vale and Spencer.

Why would someone spend significant money on a young player with potential when they don't even play games or train players?

Carruthers is at 1.7m. What the fork!?

Sells for 1.8m. I don't get it.

Neither do I.

The transfer market is becoming a scary place. One of the main reasons I decided to keep Bellingham. And I pray more juniors will come good in the future.
