Your game against Piotr is another one. I watched that game and you should have been murdered playing 3 defenders against their winger, the stats back that up, but because of their red card and because the ratings are close, the engine decided it was closer than it should have been.

Campus, I fully support your explanation, which in my opinion makes sense, especially since I’ve heard it from several sources before. Of course, there could be additional factors that determine the outcome of a match that we are not aware of.

So explain!! ;)

Nothis, if you don't believe in Campus' explanation, then how do you explain the sense of bringing a player on in the 89th minute?

We all go on about this engine we are so unaware about... we constantly complain about how it works......we go on all the time about how it ruins the game....;)
But yet no one knows how it works or even what it is....

How can you explain If anyone wants to bring a player on in the 85th min and if the ball does not go out of play until the 89th min??

The engine is 20 years old, it's not as big a mystery as it used to be. These are not just my observations either.

You're right, we don't know the inner workings of the game, and each of us thinks it's just a sporting competition between two opponents. Maybe my theory is also just a conspiracy, but if someone is bringing on players at the very end who lower the team's level, it means they have similar suspicions.

I know what you are saying but we don't know if these changes are true...

We need to use forward and enjoy the game more.
Look at stats more than conspiracies...I for one was bad to acuse people of conspiracies and was probably wrong..

I don't think conspiracy is the right word, that would imply it's intentional. My feeling is that the game was coded in a way that the engine generates the game, and the match you see works towards it. That would be fine if there weren't obvious flaws in calculating it that way.
