"Campus" might be right, the game is decided long before it ends

well that is certain, the "live" is not live, the game has ended the moment you can start watching it. the scorers / assists etc. in league stats are already added, the cards/injuries are in player profiles etc.

with NT players you can even check the end results in list of matches (was possible also at club some time ago but they "fixed" it since people complained)

it doesn't change the fact that according to the match engine creator the game is "played" action by action, not decided "up front"

I remember a time when u could check a match score in player statistics when match started

Shame that the game you guys are talking about was my 2-0 defeat. I know I am crap at tactics. I tweak them and no matter what my guys score so few goals.

For what it's worth, his match rating is 59.8. His real rating was 64.5.

As far as tactics, it looks to me like everyone is just sat too far back. Your strikers look isolated.

The youngest division is 2.01 with an average of 25.6. Premiership is 3rd with 26.2, 2.02 is second with 25.9. 2.03 is the oldest with 27.2.

I've made a stat of the transfers on one of Camus's threads. It's relevant for some and not so much for others. But this analysis is more relevant for users in my opinion. I can't speak for others but only from my point of view. And I must admit I was pleasantly surprised to see how high the value of my squad is by comparison. And also the average value per player. It's something that makes me feel better considering not all Thursday mornings are quite as I expect them to be. Coz after all, this game is all about making progress. We all know that the game results are not always what we want them to be. And sometimes we feel like we're not going anywhere (nevermind forward) after a while playing this game.
I hope more of you will find the progress you were asking for after comparing your statistical numbers and carry on improving.

Made me feel better. Financially I've been running uphill since I came back to this game as until a few weeks ago I'd never sold anyone worth anything.

Would be interesting to see ages of players in advanced training slots. I suspect mine are at the younger end of that.

Didn't realise BR's squad was so old as for years had the youth training philosophy.

You're in a great position in 2.01 to push any player you want to play and any tactic you wish. I thought I had it easy...

Truffs, BR had an awful start of the season without the kids. Alan Hansen was wrong too, by the way.

My squad is getting too old for my liking too, I am surprised I am not showing in the oldest squads tbh. I plan to make some changes this season, I’d like a shot at the FA Cup and league if possible while doing the changes.

In fairness you've JUST avoided it, with 27.9 years old average.

For comparison, mine's 26.

A Premiership squad averages 24 players. Same as in 2.03. In 2.02 is only 21, in 2.01 is 23.
