Yep, I've been arguing since I came back that the formula is broken and this game needs a basic minimum income of at least 66 667 $. New clubs can't afford coaches, trainees, stadiums, it's near impossible.

Specially now when trainers market is completely dead. I need to change my main trainer for minimum 5/6x16 (atm I have 3x16 on the left side, right is 13-15

Honestly that sounds like a pretty good coach for where you are. In that situation though the best thing to do is make sure you focus on training the things you're 16 in (so keep left). That way you minimise the damage from the right side.

It's also a good idea, if you haven't got a lot of trainees, to buy good (cheap, CHEAP) players with terrible stamina and fix them up over a month, then sell. I'm surprised more people don't do it.
2024-10-21 19:33:50
can you give me some examples of such "stamina training/trading"? doesn't sound like a good business taking into account the wages and taxes.
2024-10-21 19:40:01
Should I emphasise "Cheap" again? Buy for £1, sell for £40,000. If short-term trading wasn't still profitable it would have stopped by now.
No-one wants to train stamina, that's exactly why new clubs should consider it. Because it's cheap and easy with quick turnover.
2024-10-21 19:45:53
Training stamina doesn't make sense mostly because players reach max on their own very early, without training stamina.

Can you show me such examples?

Even if you sell for 40k after a month you will make a ~20k profit in a month minus the wages of players, sounds like a waste of training spot.
2024-10-21 19:49:27
I think you've been in this game so long that you've forgotten what it's like to be a new club.

It's not a wasted training spot for the simple fact that most new clubs won't have 10 trainees anyway. Nor will they have a decent coach to make training worthwhile anyway.

Wages are nothing if you're buying cheap players.

If wages are nothing then the player is usually a "nothing" as well and fixing his stamina won't change anything. And with 50% tax after 4 weeks fast trading actually pretty much ended already.

Can you please give me an example of player whose stamina training brought profit? I will check the skills etc myself, just show me the players.

You can make very good money buying 10 cheap 16-17yos who need training in same 2 skills and then just training them for a ~season until the tax drops to 10-13%.

Stamina? Maybe Camus thought about pace?

Still in checking talent of players. If someone didn’t pop after two trainings from 4 to 5 in pace are sell or fired if not sold

I wouldn't be in quite such a rush to fire someone for that. The way the game works can make players look better or worse than they are. For example

Player A pops to 5.05
Player B pops to 5.10

They both have a talent around 3.1 (so roughly .3 a week)

Player A will take 4 weeks to pop because he's hitting 5.95 in the 3rd week
Player B will take 3 weeks to pop because he hits dead on 6 in the 3rd week

Same talent though, only 0.05 difference in levels.

But still, should pop after two weeks if he has a talent, understand between 5-8lvks to pop like 3-2-3 weeks but not on 2-6

How on earth are Market Harborough going bankrupt when they've sold 800k worth of talent and bought no players? They don't even have a high wage bill and they're 3.5m up in transfers?
2024-10-22 14:30:22
Probably spent all the money on stadium, youth school and coaches, finally couldn't keep up with the costs

only other explanation is that there was a suspicious transfer and he got a transfer price adjustment

yeah, it probably went under the radar because it's a small team with small transfers, but he was definitely getting boosted by other teams (either friends helping him or multiple accounts pushing money into main one)

one example:

second one:

usually getting money from same teams

both teams (wino & sydney) already got botted so either he wanted to get rid of evidence or his pals stopped playing

That's disappointing
