Asunto: Season 68

I am sure that they could automatically block interaction between teams with the same user.

They could, but there's always a workaround... even with legal 2nd team, especially if it was available to create 2nd team in different country than the original one.

Imagine that a user from Poland or Turkey with lots of money, let's say 250m euro, creates a 2nd team in England.
Another user, his friend, also has a lot of money, 250m euro as well and he creates a 2nd team in England as well.

Now, they have lots of money on their old accounts but none on their new ones. What can they do?

Well they can do what one Turkish guy did (and I don't understand how he didn't get blocked...). His friends - less active now, but with money from old days - simply gave him very high bids for every player that he was selling. So he had a player worth on average 5m - but he received an offer of 8 or 10m for starting bid and then sometimes it was overbid (not everyone knows the prices).

It boosted his account massively. Easy to do that as well in our scenario.

User X uses old team to boost his friends (user Y) new team by bidding his players, sometimes overpaying, sometimes just giving him a starting bid or keeping the bidding war going on.

User Y uses old team to boost his friends (user X) new team using same methods.

It would obviously take more than a month to do, but with time they would be able to transfer a lot of their money from old to new teams. And that's just 2 friends, it can be done with 3, 5, 10 or more. The bigger the number, the less likely it would be to spot for admins and still even if spotted... apparently that's not breaking the rules since the Turkish guy still plays (and he had at least 4 other Turkish teams boosting his EVERY transfer, there was proof).

Now imagine 3 or 4 Polish or Turkish players "moving over" to England or to other country and making it their playground with money earned in previous clubs.

So 2nd team, especially in new country - yeah that would be great, at the same time it could end up very badly especially for small countries.

Sounds like hard work. I'm not saying it's not possible and like you said, it's even probable. But you'd have to be really obsessed to go through all that.

Plus, I have no friends and nobody likes me, remember?

My point was, that if it already happens, the game might as well create the right frame for the second team. Sometimes you have a friend that plays the game, does well but then he decided to leave the game and you offer to take over. Which might be Swamp/Fenland case. If admin would be ok with it, why not?

Yeah there's not much of a problem with that, other than possible financial help [same ip so easy to control] or lack of fair play when playing in same league.

Imagine a situation when you & wdp play for first place, you're level on points, a bit behind goals, it's the last round and you play your second team. You let yourself win 30:0 and you're the champion by goal difference.

Might sound improbable but we had this kind of situations in Poland even without 2nd teams... well both team were called Chełmek and led by two admins who were friends. It so happened that one of them "forgot about the game", haven't logged in for a number of days and let the other admin win casually against his friendly youngsters squad :))

With 2 teams and 1 owner this kind of situation would be much more probable - unless both teams would HAVE to play in different countries.

Ah yes well we are related. It’s also about devices. If l am looking to transfer in players it isn’t very easy on my phone and much easier on his tablet. Sibelius is brother in law, and 2347 is a cousin. We have explained this to the sokker authorities before so it is all above board.
It doesn’t alter the fact that l have been robbed in all but two games this season. And it is only a game, btw, which l pay to play these days. It may be infuriating at times but l wouldn’t want to do without it

There we go. 6 pages of nonsense for nothing.

At least I got some love and kisses :)))

It wasn't hard, was it?

I feel sorry for nothis, he thought you're a keen reader.

I was going to say. The game cannot control these situations anyway. A few seasons ago, one of the users over here did something similar and manipulated the relegation battle in the Premiership just because he thought it's fun. And now he cries because he feels disrespected.

Have seen it implemented elsewhere, you can't have teams in the same division although the cup can still be manipulated to an extent.

Allowing managers to have teams in other countries would solve the problem of "ghost" countries where there are a minimal amount of users. It would also be a new revenue stream for owners as second teams wouldn't be free.

Although as we all know any development in this game is a mega slow process. Coach retirement took just over 20 years as was first mentioned in the original rules back in 2004.

Yeah, definitely wouldn't be a bad thing, but it would have to be well thought out.

For example: what happens when someone has 2 teams and his plus runs out? Do you have to have plus to keep your 2nd team and if it runs out, your 2nd team gets botted? Or do you just have to buy some "extra" plus once, for example the equivalent of a 2 year plus to get 2 years + option to open a 2nd team?

But yeah, with their tempo of changes in last 2 years there's not much hope of good things happening swiftly. And even good general ideas that they have get messed up in the details.

You'd pay for an extra team, separate to plus. So if your plus run out it, the team would still be in play. Obviously you could incentivise people to have plus by making second teams slightly cheaper for those with plus than without.
2024-11-08 19:41:13
That would be the better option, problem with it is that it would be a one-time payment so not great business-wise. Not everything has to be done for money though and that would definitely make the game at least SEEM more lively

In my opinion the best thing is create a reserve team and league like Premier League u-23, also add to youth teams possibility to get foreign youth if you have a scout for example

still looking for the men with pitchforks and lanterns to make an apology............................... :P
2024-11-09 09:44:52
There is no need to make an apology, I don't care what anyone says it did look bad. The fact is that there has been an explanation that hopefully makes sense and follows the history for the admin.

The fact

thank you
