Asunto: Season 68
What are your ideas? Knowing them may help to come up with others?
I have a short list somewhere that I can't really remember, but the main one was a transfer scouting system that allowed me to point people in the direction of the kind of player people were after. Think of it as a Transfer Market but you have limited access to everyone, even if they're not for sale.
There was another one relating to helping new clubs with their own players, but that's not really related to the forum. Generally if it can be done I've already been doing it.
We have been talking about a private forum but associations are a non-starter due to being Plus only and I don't want to split the community.
The general idea is we want people active and involved, and ideally I'd like some kind of structure to aim for regarding training and youths, but I'm not sure what that would look like. Under the old prices I might have offered a season of Plus for the best youth system or something along those lines. I might still do, seeing as I no longer have to pay for my own.

I think the transfer notifications you put up are a fantastic addition to the forum and really help people with limited time to focus on a trainee that maybe available. I certainly bought Shea Barnes due to you. This will certainly help the NT side going forwards hopefully as good trainers here can target the English trainees. :)
Maybe something like this
"Start of the season. Screenshot your youths for the next 13 weeks using SKTables. Most promising youth system gets Plus for the season"
I'm after ideas.

Oh I did have something that allows for a Guest Manager to create the tactic for that week's NT game.
Something we were talking about last night was that we have good managers here, but that they might not want to take the NT jobs due to the workload or lack of confidence. Giving them a taste of it for 1 week might encourage more applicants.

LOL no offence but if I have the most promising school for the season I would be happy to buy plus for someone.....getting plus is a double prize ;)
I haven't checked the other leagues recently but there might be some big relegations going into Level 3. Barstable, Bikes, Dunarea, Kendal, Welling, Szolo. All too big to going down, and will be coming right back up. I'm hoping it's reflects that the leagues are getting stronger.

They aren't really. But they are more balanced. The top ratings are still low, Rock Bottom and Forest Res have been the exceptions this season. But more teams are scoring around 60 for average ratings than before. Timisoara are the last team to have done it in the last round, 62.1 rating. Then teams like Welling and Bramley and yours are in the 55 region constantly. It's a lot more poised competition than before. And we've got teams like Blitzkrieg, low rating but good tactics. Lastly, a few bots with good players like Hajduk, they can throw a span in the works.

So far, Barstable relegated, Cycle need a win this round, otherwise they're down too, Hurlanders relegated, Dunarea need to win (they play Hurlanders).
Canonly will probably need a play-off to avoid relegation, Linkin need to win, Timisoara, Bramley and Welling hope for the play-off as best outcome, LosTrios need to win almost every game, Eudamonia need a win to secure play-off.

Something you mentioned other day, about lop sided sides, think they are one of those. I outrated them by 6 points, but was not remotely troubled by them in either match.
Some very good players, but also some awful ones in their first team.

This is what (I think) Blitzkrieg does well in comparison. In fact, I might watch one their games. Just to be prepared for the next season :)))
Colne, too. They're a nightmare to play against. One minute you think you're having an easy game, next minute they're back in the game somehow.

Yep, I watched their first 15 minutes against Bramford. Just like I thought, players cover the pitch very well and they're only used for their basic skill. No complications, no player has to do anything special. Love it!
The downside is that (and I speak from my own experience) against teams with superplayers, those skills are probably not enough to overcome/stop them. But sometimes they are and that's when the shock results appear. Especially when playing against a team that does nothing else tactically but passing the ball to "that winger".

I don't generally like using new formations in league games but as I couldn't get an arcade game arranged yesterday to test it out, screw it. Could be great, could be a disaster.
