Won 3-1 but they scored first so was a bit concerned!

Timisoara looks like a team with massive potential for the future. Last game they lined up an 11 with 10 internationals. The only player not being member of a NT is Polish (and we all know it's not easy to get in their NT).

I thought that before. Got to the prem and were promptly relegated. That was despite a the time high 60s ratings.

Relegation not confirmed for anyone yet but imminent for Swamp and Shakespeare unless they win on Wednesday
Man U and RTS are safe from the playoffs

Rock Bottom go up as champions if they win on Wednesday
Stiffs, Bramford or Fenland for the playoff spot
Barstable and Bikes are gone, St Paulie join them if they don't win on Wednesday
Crows are safe from the playoffs if they win, everyone else has to fight on


Kowal are back up as champions
Corvin, Craiova and Elmstead can all take the playoff spot
Dunarea and Hurlanders are gone. Timisoara need a point for playoff safety leaving Bramley Moore and Welling to fight over the last relegation spot.
Everyone else is looking to grab or avoid the relegation playoff spots

Technically 6 clubs still fighting for the title in 3 but realistically it's Navua or Squeezers who only need a win to lock up 1st and 2nnd, all 6 are safe from relegation either directly or via playoffs.
The bottom 6 is a similar story. All 6 can technically still be relegated but wins for Linkin Park and CanOnlyGetBetter will see them with playoff safety

Cheers, I needed some motivation to stay up.

I messed up at some point during the season with some tactical experiments. Meanwhile, a few results later I started to think I might be able to stay up. And I'm in "why not?" state of mind now. I don't have many players to train and not too many old players to get rid of either. Which brings the question: how come you're still rolling with those oldies up front after a season in which you could've changed them with some younger strikers and still win the league?

The younger ones are there, waiting. 25yo Buzea is quite close to McMahon now, although other striker trainees are a bit further behind. Their time will come, see no point selling the oldies as won't fetch loads so makes sense to dredge the last couple of seasons out of them.

Congrats Piotr, I lost 3-0. I had more shots but his keeper just got to every shot incredibly and my equally good keeper couldn’t. Still need 1 points to win the league, we go again :)
