Asunto: Camus' Camp Young Boys Club (U-21 Manager)

2024-12-18 23:40:10
I have had awful luck lately, but weirdly I have had some decent youths (potentially only) since rejoining the youth league.

@camus - BR has always had a lot of good youths, I do believe so,e are luckier than others. Padstow also has a lot of lovely youths. I remember there used to be another club that had an amazing profit from youths, he’s gone now and left before the new training system.

First of the squad changes.

Garrett Campbell in
Trevor Turnbull to Future Stars
Flash Davis out

I needed someone a bit more reliable for the defence and he's a fantastic utility player. There might be a couple more changes coming now I've got my minimum requirements set.

Amadou Agbonlahor to Future Stars
Leon Clapham out

I'm going to post some bare minimum requirements in here later. I think there are some players you'd look at and think "Why aren't they included" and it's because they have a significant weak spot. If we had more time before the World Cup I'd message managers and try to get them fixed, but we have 2 weeks.

F***, who got injured within the last 6 hours?

Boatman. Ok, he wasn't getting used today anyway.

A win is a win. I'll reserve my thoughts on that until I've heard what you lot think.

My ocd can't cope with 9 and 7 being wing backs :D
2024-12-21 12:47:14
As someone mildy autistic, 7 and 9 being wingbacks makes my brain itch. I'd fix it, but the issue is a lot of my formations are paired up for tactical switching, so changing 1 means I have to change them all.
2024-12-21 12:51:18
The high line might be risky at this level. I know I keep talking about tactical discipline but when you play something that requires quite a high level of perfection, it is important. In the arcade game the other night, I had Haliwa, only just brought in, and he was the weak link, allowing your striker to sneak in.
2024-12-21 13:00:16
Yeah I'm aware of the risk but it's somewhat mitigated by the players I'm picking. When it comes to the defence I don't allow weak links, I prefer balance and reliability over a high skill with a weak point. I don't want to get into too much detail in public over what I was happy with today and what I think didn't work, but let's just say I'm aware and changes will be made. There were quite a few experiments today, next week should be more... consistent.
