Asunto: Camus' Camp Young Boys Club (U-21 Manager)
It could be beneficial having a season before your 1st full campaign.. that way you know players and can build a tactic..
There's never really a chance to get used to players, at most you'll get 2 seasons with them. This season it's literally 5 weeks and then there's not much point in keeping them on.
I keep making this argument that the World Cup needs to be at the end of the season. Not only does it make sense for managers, but we actually get a proper U-21 World Cup instead of these players who are barely past 20.
As for the game, maybe I learnt something. I mentioned before that there was a 3rd tactic I wanted to use but couldn't. With hindsight I think that tactic is maybe the only way we could have gotten a result today, at least with the way our defence and mids performed.

Yep I saw. I want to go more in depth on what went wrong today but I need to be on my pc as it could be a long post.
I did some basic work on the current U-20 squad a few days ago, I need to look closer at them but I'm now considering switching fully to the U-20s after the Turkey game.
I think there are weaknesses in the current U-21s that we can't do anything about and it could cost us ranking. Thankfully I haven't arranged any games yet, so it might just be a case of being careful who we play.

Agree on advance u20 terms.... most teams respect agreements and most nations Want to play u20 after wc
Whoever the U-21 manager is in the future is going to be blessed with some firepower. I was looking at Shea Barnes (18) and thinking he was a monster, but then Roland Naseem is only 1 point behind and Napier 1 behind that.
I think we're maybe 3 players away from being able to put out a very strong U-18 team.

I wasn't going to because there's only 48 of them but I may put up the U-17 graph later. There looks to be a lot of potential in that group.
With some of the strikers ahead of him he's probably going to have to wait until he's 21 to get into the team.
I haven't watched it but the keeper injury after 10 minutes and a 4-0 defeat given it was 9 shots each makes it look like a very unfair scoreline. I wouldn't stress however, as there was nothing to play for essentially and now you can plan for an assault on next season. It would be good to try and keep the ranking where it is or increase it though :)
Lost 4-0 and I'm not convinced we even deserved to lose. I'll rewatch it later
So this is interesting.
Darren Esdaile is on sale.
Darren Esdaile is also in a bot team
Last season we tried to save him by sticking him in the NT but it was too late, so I gave up and moved on.
It seems they've finally implemented the NT bot fix. Or someone just randomly saved him?
