Last season we tried to save him by sticking him in the NT but it was too late, so I gave up and moved on.

It seems they've finally implemented the NT bot fix. Or someone just randomly saved him?

I'm going to need to pull the Guest Manager slot from this season just because of the transition from U21 to U20. Some of the other managers aren't so keen on switching.

I'm pretty sure I'll be clearing out the U-21's later today as it looks like all games for the rest of the season will be U-20 (against Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal and hopefully Scotland) and then the Druids Cup.

Benson looked crap in my cup match last night. I deffo need more defending on him.

Sometimes that's just how it is. I remember using him in the U-20 game against Slovensko and was surprised by how well he played.

20 minutes to the Mexico game and I swear to god if we lose this one I'm going to start considering my position. We haven't been getting the results we deserved, except for the Colombia hammering. For once I'd like some allignment between the performance and the scoreline.

Genuinely I meant what I said a few days ago, don't get stressed about the results too much. Look at the matches and see what formations work best at u21 and just use this season to learn as much as you can. Ranking would be ideal to avoid a hard group but I truly believe all the effort you are putting in will see you be a success, it's a project not a one season fix. ;)

I'm a bad loser. If we get beaten by a better team or we get tactically outdone I can accept that. It's where we play well and still lose that annoys me.

I understand that, I hate losing at anything :)

Poland was seconds away from being knocked out by Argentina. 120th minute 2-1 Argentina, Poland got a penalty and leveled. They went on to win in the shoot-out.
Switzerland, another dramatic win against Greece.
Spain, Italy and Czechia are out. Australia shocked Turkey with a 3-1 win.

A week ago Czechia - Croatia 3-0. Today Croatia - Czechia 1-0. This sums up U21.

I'll address the U-21s at some point this week when I've stopped being mad about it. I know what has to be done now, I should have stuck to the original plan.
