Ha ha, my BFF is being shown again. On the competition he joined because I joined. Supposed to be for teams with 60 to 69 ratings and he won with a 73+ rating. No doubt, 'i'm being attacked' cry will follow soon :)))

I am sure he will play younger players and achieve the rating require. :)

The allowance is for 75, which I don't necessarily agree with but it is what it is.

It'd have been the decent thing to do. Hence, he didn't, he played his 73 ratings team in his first game. The admin is now questioned why did he even allowed him in the competition.

The allowance thing is stupid. The difference between 69 and 75 is huge. It's not like the difference between 39 and 45.
In my opinion the decent thing is to play a team that rates under 69. In most cases is just one player difference for the teams with high ratings. It's not hard. It's a friendly competition after all.

He could come back with covids, never understood why grown men sit on nasty cold seast watching a ball being kicked about and you can't really see much at all,miles better on TV, it's just for atmos, you need to go to the Aly paly World Darts for atmos

It's a xmas present for his Dad and he spent around £8000 doing this, and thats a lot given he's 18 and doesn't have much money. I think they'll win easily today, they'd better or he will be mighty pissed off. lol

Since West Ham moved to the London Stadium the atmosphere is crap because it's not an actual football stadium. For atmosphere the old Upton Park was amazing as players could tough the players from The Chicken Run stand. Afield is great for atmosphere too.

But it's insane that this sport is played outdoors in England NOT in the Summer , I know kids school holidays but they do not last 1st June to 20 August, as for holidays these millionare players these days can chase the sun around the world

IE they can holiday in december to january and not play on break your leg pitches [not all teams have prem quality pitches]

Na the atmos at a football game is nothing in comaprison to aly pal world darts, its too open outdoors , people singing at wrong time, and anything sung lame, like blowing bubbles

in the olden days you have 8 players on pitch from england most of which came through your youth system, people actually cried with them , bleed with them, knew them, drank with them, nowadays who tf is that oh he's gone
The game is the billionaires playing god, i give you David Beckham as an example, rest sheeks and billionaires from America, no care for our game

I agree, our country has always given advantage to the stronger kids playing on boggy pitches, this has changed a lot though and is why we now have so many more technical players than we did, there are numerous examples of this now.
