The game before this one it was 6-1 and one of them, Gabbiadini scored 4. And I was curious, I thought I might have a little Mbappe in the academy. Tonight he scored one from 13 shots. 12 of them ruined all the advertising boards around the pitch.

If you want to win in junior matches make tactics where they all run for the ball or be close to. Make it more of a rugby match to say, as those Juveniles werent meant to play football

Won't help much if your team is pure garbage, like mine is. Literally nothing good in there, I keep 11 just to take part in youth league for faster talent correction, but it's been terrible last couple of seasons.

What I find funny is the complete lack of correlation between YL ratings and eventual skills.

For example, I played a 16yo as a DEF and he got constant 30+ rating, which is top level for my team, so I expected him to have high def/pace. Imagine my surprise when I saw him:

unsatisfactory [2] pace hopeless [1] defender
poor [3] technique poor [3] playmaker
unsatisfactory [2] passing poor [3] striker

Hes a superstar ;)

Crazy he got 30+ rating though.

Full 90min, 3 games in a row, doesn't make any sense.

It wouldn't surprise me if junior games are just a bugged mess, but you can't prove it is due to player skills being hidden. And it pretty much being a waste of time to even investigate.

Wonder if my luck will run out around the 70th minute today.

Won 2-1 but this game loves torturing me. And another fecking injury

Twice now my luck has changed around the 70th minute.

Winning position at 70th, drew 1-1 at the 89th.

Won 9-0 and the result above has really helped me. Cup semi Friday is the next big test.

Aluminium, your comment is surprising to me. Just the randomness of this game and nothing more.

Some proper robberies tonight: Northern Thistle and Navua.

It's not random when your position changes once I bring the youths in.

Long term plan but based on 70 minutes scores you'd have 1 point instead of 4.

And a great game it was too!

You deserved it in the end for the first half alone! And yeah, sorry for my dangerous defenders!

Navua have been close to doing that a few times already this season.
