No-one in this game over 30 should have Divine Pace,
Remember short distance runners peak late 20's early 30's and middle to long distance think of Mo Farah, and boxers, if you look after your body, but some do take a bit extra ahem
* it's not easy to do pace as we all know fast 18yo's are in RL but not here, no other way of really doing it apart from not letting you train some other skills and say pace starts higher
* I think pace should be something you start with and keep and only drop, an untrainable skill

Yeah but not footballers, it's a different biology and physicality. There isn't a player in the world who maintained the pace they had at 20 into their 30s, there's always a drop off. Even if it's just from Divine to Magical.

In RL Robben was as fast at 32 as he was at 22, Ronaldo same, Kyle Walker, you get many wingers who's speed is there biggest asset but get found out dropped but they can still set a fast time,
* I've seen Superdivine 29yo drop to divine Pace other 2 superdivine still, I cannot see these players U30 still having divine Pace aged 32, which is more realistic.

My gk just dropped to magical pace at 29 yo after having many gts in pace at unearthly.
Also you must think how much monetary value a player age 30 lose for the club... if we made them drop faster it would be really hard to maintain a good level.... and the reward for training a player 3-4 real life years would be very low

Also divine pace 32 Are rare ... pace often drops the first level at 30-31
The market would balance out. The current system really doesn't do enough to discourage the hoarding of cheap old players. At the moment the game works on a boom and bust system where teams have to sacrifice building to get to the top.
So much of this game is counter-intuitive. It wants you to train and progress, but doing so actively damages your ability to compete. The way to win is actually day-trade and buy cheap older players. The current trading rules don't go far enough in my opinion in shutting down profiteering.

1 win to guarantee my side a play off at least...... now's when we get the calculators out.. :P
You don't need any more wins to guarantee at least a playoff. You are already guaranteed to finish at least 8th!
sorry.........looks like me and wdp have the same calculators......... :S
Bad luck lol ….to be wrong and Gibbage see it truly is humbling for us both. lol
Crap, I was going to make an adjustment to tonight's formation and I forgot. I better get on with it.
You can still finish below me, there's still time (although not much of it).
