Season 69 is about to start. Millions of users all around the world are counting the seconds to the start of the only League they care about:

The good and the bad can be easily seen.

9 out of 12 teams in Premiership managed average ratings above 65. The only team in Division 2 with above 65 is Internazionlle.
2 were nearly there with 64 and 63.2, one is below 60.

Division 2, apart from Internazionlle, over 60 average ratings: 12 teams.
14 teams averaged under 55., 6 in 2.01, 3 in 12.02, 5 in 2.03.

Overall, not much progress but a wider gap between Div 2 and Premiership.

Anfield, Colne and Thamesmead managed 75 shots between them this round. Aubergine had the most, 36 with 50% efficiency.

Can someone explain me how it works?

Haha thats going to need Jensen or Camus. Basically the better the win you get, if with close ratings to the team you faced.....the more points you get.

It rather shows how well YOU do. Obviously the result matters but as the name of the league says, if your tactic compensates the rating handicap, it means you're doing well here.

You lost 12-0. So you got 0 points from the game. Which was expected on paper, you ratings being a lot lower than your opponent's. The goal difference was higher than 5 which says you would've been better off if you didn't turn up (sorry, it sounds harsh). That means you don't get any bonus. Only penalties for the goal difference.
Now, if you would've performed better than the paper, it would've meant your tactic has actually compensated the rating handicap and you would've been rewarded. Let's say you would've lost by 4-0 instead. Guess what, you would've scored a handsome +5.47.
Look at Avon, for example. Their rating handicap was just over 11. Yet, they got a draw. They scored 4.62, a point for the result, the rest being bonuses for doing better than expected, for coming with a point from an away game and from scoring at least 3 goals.
This league is meant to stimulate managers to improve their tactics and do better and defy what the stats are saying. It rewards that surprise element that makes the leagues more interesting. Otherwise, we could just conclude the leagues before they start. Some already decided who won the Premiership. Well, this league is another incentive for managers to 'fight the elites'.

Not only the win gets you points. As explained above, even a loss could've got spit some healthy points as the ratings gap was huge. It's all about getting better at building tactics and, in his case, not leaking so many goals. Theoretically, if this stimulates spit and he wants to get more points in this league, he doesn't need to win games (which he will admit is very difficult at the moment for him) but at least he will end up with a better tactic and his team would not leak so many goals. He might relegate but he will have a much better tactic which would help him return to Division 2 and do a lot better than the previous season.
A better tactic saves money too. Fans won't be as mad even if you lose and you don't have to compensate performance with expensive players.

Average ratings in Div 2 are improving. Only 11 teams had lower than 55. While 3 (1 in each) had above 65. 13 teams managed between 60 and 65 average ratings. 9 between 55 and 60.
On overall 2.01 had the highest: 674.2. Which is 121.7 less than the Premiership overall.
Premiership had 7 teams with an average above 65.
4 managed between 61.6 and 63.9. One team was at 58.3.
