I just looked and you’re right that’s very odd, I can only assume he was an NT player and the manager asked for him to be sold so they can use him again?

I'd imagine he was in an NT.

Doesn't need to be requested anymore, it's automatic.

It's possible that an NT manager saw him and wanted him, so got him on the list and then removed him from the NT.

It can only be that he was dropped because of being in a bot side and they asked for him to be released. There’s surely no other reason I can see.
