As camus says, you are over complicating a theoretical question.

I'm not overcomplicating, this question without details simply has different answers.

Which is shown even by you, since you yourself gave 2 different answers (B for young, F for older/playing).

Some will answer this question for a trainee, some will answer skill-wise for playing. Which makes the whole poll pointless. Well it is pointless anyway, as is this discussion so yeah, I will stop "overcomplicating" things for you guys.

It's just a question though, no right or wrong answer. I just answered based on two scenarios.

Maybe I am alone here but I prefer defenders with some PM, they tend to pass well rather than hoofing it ooff the pitch backwards with PM. ;)

Technique is obviously important as you don't want them tackled too, personally I would rather have a defender with outstanding tech, pm and passing than a defender with divine tech and solid passing and pm.

I miss the option 11 pace, 12 def and 7 tech

I'll do the striker version of this next week. Wingers and Midfielders are going to be more difficult

i can address outruning with tactics, but you cant do shit vs high tech attackers no matter what
