Damn. So close to getting something but Agent Benson screwed up again. Didn't help that they switched formation on me but our attack was so poor.

I'm very sorry, with a bit of luck you would have brought a positive result, the road is still long and you can do it.
I can learn from that game, just need to adjust the attack. We had so many chances to cross the ball but Jansen and Dribble refused because Boatman was crowded.
In general things don't look too bad. We've created a 7 goal difference gap over Lithuania and the job now is to increase it over the next 2 games.

It's worth bearing in mind that if you've got a trainee who isn't progressing how you want, it's sometimes possible to switch them to another position.
I'm thinking specifically about defenders who maybe don't have the best Pace or Tech getting moved into central midfielder with a couple levels of Passing and PM.
The same goes for wingers who don't have the Pace or Tech to play that position. A couple of levels of defence will turn them into pretty decent central mids.
What I'm saying is we don't have a lot of central midfielders and I'm trying to fill the gaps.

He's fine, just unlucky. He wouldn't have played if Walker had been fit.
For future reference, Sokker Assistente (highly recommended) has a NT scout tool. This means if needed, I'd be able to assign a scout to help me with the U-21s. This isn't so important for me as I do all the work myself, but for any future NT manager it'd mean I'd be able to carry on the scouting duties I was doing before I was manager.

This Sokker Assistente tool is awesome. It added our U-21 squad and I manually added all our other keepers to it. It orders them, updates them in 2 seconds, can filter by age and level, on sale, injured. Any future NT manager really needs to use this.

Not much in the way of Keeper pops but Robin Peters and Archie Robinson are coming along nicely. 2 pops for both of them.
Defenders look ok. Morph England continues to look like a prospect, especially with Flash Davis now injured for 3 weeks. Double pop for Carlton Davis, a much needed pop for Clarence Bruyne, triple pop for Nobby Whelan but I think it'll come too late, triple pop for Leon Evans who looks like a real prospect.
In midfield Frazer Ferguson double pops after I drop him and looks like being recalled. Double for Roy Amass who is on the fence for next season. Moss Green continues to push for a wing position. Tony Mazur lets me down again and the wing-pack are now catching him. Triple pop for my Matthew Hawke who now looks like a steal.
Not a lot in the way of relevent striker pops but Kevin Preece is starting to look very interesting. Naseem and Sinclair chug along, starting to leave Napier behind.
Nothing for Jimmy Duff which means... nope nothing for Nev Bruce either but James Naylor double pops and is now level with them, which means Nev Bruce is 3rd (alphabeticall). And Wayne Williams is now only 1 behind. There is a big pack of about 10 strikers within a couple of points of the leaders and I'm looking forward to seeing where Shane Watts will place when I add him later.

Good luck tomorrow, I hope David continues to improve quickly for you. I am trying to get his pace up but obviously that’s the slowest skill to train.
He's not needed just yet so no rush. I had planned on getting Shea Barnes 20 minutes against Ghana but his injury has put an end to that.
All set for tomorrow. I'm just waiting to see whether Des Walker recovers in time, if not it'll be Benson playing.

I am gutted about Barnes, he’s only got 1 day though……so glad it wasn’t a proper injury.
