Don't expect top half finish in the coming season. Youths still liabilities in the prem (although some are almost passable now). Sides that have come up stronger than Navua and Squeezers were last season, so going be a slightly tougher league in general anyway.

Aim is same as last season though, not to relegate. I'm sure the fans will have some daft level of expectation though.

Hopefully botspeare will drop down this season so should be between you and Stiffs for the title I would say.

In terms of this season it's pretty much the same for me as last time - avoid direct relegation. In terms of preparations, I got 3 new players for mid - one for first 11 and two for training and finally got a youth coach so hopefully in a few seasons I can start actually training my own players.

On the negative side though, I didn't plan my expenses properly so after todays wages I'm sitting at a whooping 95k budget! Gotta pray to the Sokker gods for no injuries this season lol

I got hammered by a 30k wage increase and now I'm financially locked until someone sells or the new season starts.

Got a bit of a whack with wages increases too so might need a bit of tinkering/thought, still no where i was hoping to be in part due to low attendances for the last 5/6 home games.. Also have 4 first teamers sitting on 2 yellows so wouldnt mind getting some of those out of the way soon!

By the way another random question from me. Do you need a full youth team before the season starts to be included in the youth division? Or do you get added at any point once you have enough players?

You have to have enough players to have a lineup. So really 10 is the minimum (think you can get away with 9 but 8 or less would see a walkover and booted).

Technically you could join with not so many players but you would get booted after conceding consecutive walkovers.

I don't think you get booted out, I've seen teams being WO'd the whole season.

But yeah, you can join at any moment once you have a minimum of 11 players. But the later you join, the less points you'll be achieving. I think Colne had this issue in Div 2 last season, they joined late, and although they had a really good team and destroyed some of their opposition, it was too late for them to get enough points to avoid relegation.

Definitely do get booted. Back in day of no reminders, I got booted multiple times as never remembered to set a team.

Never had any motivation for the junior games. It's easier when you get a prompt. Just make sure a lineup is set.
