What a game!!!

I'm watching Man U Padstow. How the hell Man U are winning this I do not know. Foden is running riot.

Back in the Prem for the first time since with Forest Reserves many moons ago.

Absolute ding-dong of a game - I thought I was out of it pretty much the whole way through, spending the whole match playing catch up.

An all time classic!

Albeit I feel I might be “doing a derby” next season…

My ex striker Buzea the difference maker it would seem!

Padstow Rovers - Man United 1995-96 6:2

Justice is done in the end but Padstow made it look difficult for 65 minutes. Man U's offside trap backfired quite badly every time they got a freekick or throwin.

Reading the text, that Anfield game is mad.

Back in the dizzy heights of Div2, following a very close game with Avon Gunners. I think I rode my luck a little. Well played Giohp32, you were a tad unlucky. Good luck bouncing straight back.

What a game…had everything you can imagine for a sokker game.

Ding dong, end to end play, amazing saves by keepers, especially Dublin, some awful misses by strikers. All standard sokker..
But, wow..

A summary of the game:

After 26 minutes ANFIELD were 2-0up and cruising. Forest defence like Swiss cheese, saved multiple times by Beau Dublin their keeper, in superdivine form, thankfully.

Half time couldn’t come soon enough.

Tactics meant that forest Abandoned the new “wizzybang” tactics at half time and brought on 2 subs.

66minutes gone and super sub, bought this afternoon from Rock Bottom, scored. 2-1
Back of the net. Back in the game.

A few good changes, including an occasional the ANFIELD keeper doing a walkabout outside of his area in a way that Bruce Grobbelar would have been proud of. But forest don’t capitalise.

Then on the 83rd minute ANFIELD score again. 3-1

Forest are dead and buried.

Or are they? Immediate goal for forest bringing back to 3-2with 5 minutes to go…

But then the end. Forest Reserves concede a penalty in the 87th minute. ANFIELD have the opportunity to go 4-2 up and put the game beyond reach.

BUT THEY MISS!

And then in the 88th minute forest score again. Somehow it’s 3-3!!!

Into extra time. Forest have the momentum!!!

Or not….94th minute ANFIELD score an absolute humdinger of a HEADER from OUTSIDE THE BOX…!! 4-3

Then in the 96th minute they score again. 5-3

Forest now need 2 goals in 24 minutes to take to penalties, or 3 to win :(

And the forest score in the 99th, so we go into half time of extra time with the game at 5-4 to ANFIELD.

The players all look exhausted, the managers more so.

But then in the 108th minute, Forest Reserves score! 5-5!

So it looks certain to go to penalties.

And then forest score again in the 111th minute to go 6-5ahead, and lead the game for the first time. A game that ANFIELD have led for most of the previous 111 minutes.

ANFIELD have a decent chance in the 116th minute and fluff a free kick at the death.

And Forest are in the Prem!!! 6-5 winners!

What a game.

You got me worried at some point. I thought I'm going to have another stinker of the season in Premiership. I already took out the most experienced players and put them up for sale. I was watching Spain v Portugal in the same time and every time I looked at the computer screen, the score was different and my team kept being ahead.

Congratulations, you made it, you're in the Premiership! And congratulations to both of us for a superlative game.

Congratulations to those promoted and commiserations to those relegated and hope you come back soon. :)

Elmstead are going to be a serious force this season, maybe favourites for the title.

Well done/commiserations to all the movers and shakers. I forgot to list my elderly "stars" for the playoffs, let's hope i can sell them in the new season! I think i should be able to win the league fairly easily without them, if i can avoid bankruptcy!

Congrats and well played, Chuck - you'll be a very strong addition to II.01. Time for a few changes to my team and see what happens next season!
