You just have much smaller outgoings, worse coaches etc. I didn't struggle with finances second time around, just can't budget like a prem team with unearthly coaches.

Yeah I almost killed myself 2nd time around trying to operate like I did when an established prem team. Even now I’m still ramping up to avoid running at a loss, as I want to be at least break even then you can use money from player sales for player purchases.

Even player wage bills kill brand new teams…mind you the league tweak a couple of seasons ago probably helped them a little?
