Jon, I'm afraid that we may have to agree to disagree here, but I fail to follow your logic. Just because you fail to beat 1 or 2 of the best managers in the USA does not qualify you for a Non-NT position. Just look at poor Harry Redknapp - he's struggled for years with teams such as West Ham, Portsmouth, Southampton, and, more recently, Tottenham and he is currently being heralded as the favorite for the England National Team manager position without ever winning a premier league title (in fact, I'm pretty sure he has never finished in the top 3).

Also, I'm not convinced that you have better players than Dag or Slammmy (I'm willing to concede you have better players in those age groups but not overall better players). For instance, I looked at the last 4 games last season for you, Dag, and Slammmy. Dag and Slammmy had average markings of 66.75 and 66.18, but you averaged 62.84 per game. However, I realize that towards the end of the season, you were without a proper striker so I also looked at your games in weeks 6-10 and your average was still only at 65.76. So even then Dag and Slammmy's players were performing better than yours. I think you are doing a great job in finishing in 3rd place. Your lower ratings are surely a result of only playing players under 25 years old. If you were to play older players, I am sure your rating would jump into the 66-67 range and you would stand a better chance at beating Dag and Slammmy. I will, however, say that it is charitable of you, being as great a manager as you are, to limit yourself with younger players in order to give Slammmy and Dag a fair chance at winning the ML. Anyway, if this won't convince you nothing will, so I will leave it up to the rest of the managers within the USA community to decide for themselves.

Ratings are a calculation based on the performance on the pitch. Their performances are sub-par, because they are typically in the wrong place. And I don't treat them well, either.

Pretty sure you've got my vote for now at least! Jon must come with something big here

mr_gibbage, if there were a global NT coaching position available I would carefully consider my non-candidacy. As there is not, I can only not run for what is available. However, if you are suggesting that I not run as England NT manager, I'm afraid I must turn down your request and express my gratitude for considering me for not running as England NT coach. You see, I do not want to entertain any conflict of interest as I labor for my non-NT USA position. I wish the best of luck to Jon to not get elected NT coach in England though.

Ok, Jlw!

You now have my Non-Vote! Your dedication to the cause won me over!

Thank you for you support!

I DEMAND A MOD DELETE ALL JLW POSTS AND FORCE HIM TO CREATE HIS OWN NON-NT THREAD! He is trolling.

(I am working on my next platform plank, but wanted to display childish whining as another reason I shouldn't be NT coach).

Hah! The classic "shut up troll" line, I was waiting for that, tis the last refuge of the defeated and one I know very well.

Folks, you misunderstand. I do not claim to be the only viable candidate for non-NT. I claim to be the best one. Rick Santorum thinks he should be non-President, despite the fact that Mitt Romney is clearly the best non-Presidential candidate from the Republicans. My platform has been clearly laid out over the course of years. My lack of success is stunningly impressively manifest. My non sequiturs are truly random. I invite JLW to promote his campaign in more than four sentences that boil down to "I've been around a few seasons and can't seem to do better than B league." Where's the randomness? Where's the plan to combat world hunger? WHERE ARE THE STRATEGERIES THAT WILL FAIL TO SUCCEED (e.g. using Orchitis-ridden gonads)?

IMO, the strength of my candidacy for Non-NT coach is a combination of lack of success and spastic commentary that shows I have no clue about how to run the management side of the team either (No deodorant to make the other team pass out? Wearing spiked heels and spandex while playing? WTF???)

If you all want to fall for "I suck - look at me stuck in B" then that is akin to someone non-voting for a the football QB as school president because he says "I'm a stud. Nothing else matters." You should vote for a non-candidate ONLY when you can in your view avoid at all costs someone who with credibility says that they have a well developed plan guaranteed to fail to succeed in gloriously impressive nucular (see Bush, George W.) fashion.

Vote for a "one hit wonder" (JLW) over systemic incompetence and random nonsense (me) at your own peril.
