Asunto: Arcade mode

You wanted more matches, we've provided. Check out the new arcade mode, exclusively for plus users, allowing for matches every day!


LOL, instead fixing current problem they are putting more shit on top...

This week we are introducing two interesting changes.

Plus users will now be able to play a friendly match every day in "Arcade mode".

The basic principles of this type of game are as followed:
* Arcade games are only possible between two teams with Plus active.
* A team can only play one game per day. On Wednesdays, you can choose to play either an arcade game OR a training match. A training match is simply a game played under the existing rules.
* Arcade games are for fun and have no effect on reality; injuries and cards are not saved after the game, and the match has no impact on training. You can play all players in arcade games, even if they have injuries or red cards which prevent them from playing normal games.
* Teams are able to set the start time of the match from 09:00 to 2:59 CET.
* You can play the match on the same day as it is organised, but remember to give teams time to adjust their lineup.

Our second change is an 'ad break' before watching games as a non-Plus user. Y

all the changes are a joke.. i think they want to get rid of all the older users.. or folks interested in playing a strategic soccer game.. in hopes of attracting a new and different group..

it really sucks ass they dont work on the match engine..
after 2 years im about to stop playing.. as the actual game really has turned to shit!!!

what a waste.. they really had something here.. not sure why they implemented all these stupid mods only to ruin the game that used to be a huge success.. now it just another wanna be arcade game that blows for everyone... What a JOKE!

I got the impression that the purpose for the first change was to mask the negativity of the 2nd change. Regardless, the first change seems rather pointless to me. I suppose the second change will help keep their revenue stream up with the 40-50% decline in overall users over the last 2 years.

I also believe that this is not the best way to attract users for this game! Most of the changes they have done are not seen with good eyes by lots of users. I am curious what they will do next. You know, they can in fact lose players if they are not careful!

I didn't want to create a new topic, so I'll write here, Paradiseky, I see that you invited me to the ardade match, releme twice, islander, Blue and borkos, you lost to me, to releme, you have one victory and one defeat and you won against borkos, Blue and with the Icelander. Your results were great, but did you watch our match? I haven't had time yet, but I'll sit down and watch it, I see that I won, despite the red card in the 17th minute, what do you think about the match if you watched it?

My team has made it to the majors in just two seasons.. and the first i wasn't even invited to the US cup. A feat no one has accomplished before. just saying

He had 8 goals out of 7 shots against me, never seen such a thing in this game :P

It was 17:7 in shots for me, but 3:8 in goals :D

I thought I was massively overpowered by the quality of your team.

In our training regiment we practice to only take shots that will result in a goal. Once the task is mastered, we level up and score without taking a shot.

Later it all shows in the game.

It's funny. I didn't feel that way as much when I played him last season, and his team was better then, and my team worse.
Just outgunned, but this was no surprise going in - I knew I couldn't win. I wanted to see what a Polish II league team was like.

Wasn't overly impressed.

I haven't watched the match yet, but judging by the result and statistics, he played better than you, and you could see some mistakes in the field, especially on the sides of the pitch.

- Your team was considerably worse against him (both in team score, and you played minus a central defender most of the game)

- Jankowiak is the difference here, he's superior to any striker I had then, and honestly, even now. He was the 5th leading scorer in ML this season, and the only reason my guy was higher was he got a padded game against FC Nippon who accidentally had a friendly lineup in. Jankowiak breaks tackles far better than any player I have, and he had one less central defender to deal with. His two strikers had just two defenders to deal with.

- Paradiseky plays a more passive defensive setup, whereas I felt that with the quality of my defense at that time, I felt a trap was my best chance at competing. If there was a mistake on my end, it was here. Though I seem to have a perpetual habit of always losing more 50/50s then I ever win, for reasons I seem to never understand. It's not the obvious (tech vs defense, angles of tackling attempt, first, second, or third broken tackle). I understand the match engine isn't out to get me, but I feel this one aspect of games is something that seems doomed against me.

Once again, you demonstrate not only your inability to properly analyze matches (which explains why our NT has sucked for so long) but your ability to be nothing more than a foreign troll here. There was no need for you to necro an old thread here. A simple PM to Para would've sufficed.

Besides, I've been checking the players you've been selling lately, and I'm here to tell you that in 5-6 seasons these guys aren't going to be meaningfully better than what we have now. This country's NT #1 problem is managers are building for U21 success, not NT success. Until this changes, the end results will stay the (edit: similar, perhaps better with a manager who isn't incompetent).

Once again, I do not agree with your opinion, and the forum is intended to exchange opinions of different people, it is not your private forum, so once again I do not understand your aggression...

As for my team's assessment, it was the same (if not better), but it was greatly underestimated by the player with the red card, so I cannot agree with you on that. As for the second part of the sentence, I agree here, most of the time I played without one player (but not without a central defender, if the conditional command worked, I haven't watched the match yet, so I didn't check it).

It is not a good approach to think that you are better than others because you make such an impression on the forum, calm down and start accepting criticism. That's what the forum is for, to exchange impressions.

As for NT, this is not the topic of this thread, so I won't comment on it here, but I also disagree with you here.
