The next steps

- First of all, I need the login for the database. Can somebody help me? Until now, i didn`t get answer from the last U21 Coach.
- Second: In the next 2-3 days I will start the "Bet-Game" i promised.

I don't think anyone else has access to the database. Maybe LLama or Cio can help? Make sure to play Gene West every game and you'll win the group :P

Overview after the first day as Nationalcoach

The situation isn`t easy. In our database just were around 15 players with age 21 or younger.
I started searching players now for myself. That means much work:
I checked many teams in the Major and the A-League and went back the Transfers of these teams.
->So I found few talented players, that got transfered to other countries

Situation:
- We have only 1 keeper, that also can Keep shots. And he is not a really good one either...
- We have some good defenders, no Problems there
- We have really less strong midfielders.
- We have enough good strikers.

So: Help to find the best U21 players!

- You have a good player? Write me to ask, if he has some chances!
- You remember a good youth player, you selled? Check if he is still alive and write me ;)
- You don`t have a youth School? Open one, to help the USA (not only U21, but also A-Team in future).

As i saw at our elect. campaign, i have my list with better valued USA players(at the end of past season), from 18 to 63 years old.

And it was'nt just a campaign speech :)
I could say, you finded most valued players for the moment, i have just a few for you that you don't got til now into squad.As you say, no high valued GK-s here...

With Philippinas i don't see any problem, but before Italy we gonna know our better players...

The first round:
Pilipinas U21 - USA U21

The question is: How strong is our team?
The most interesting thing always is, how strong the new U21 team really is.
For me as coach there are few things, that aren`t clear.

1) The keeper
We have a problem. Emmanuel Caray is our Number 1. Against Pilipinas he could be strong enough. But what happens against Uruguay and Italy? Is it possible to qualify with such an "average" keeper?

2) The defenders
This is our best part in the team. Zipp Ripken has an unbelievable value. But: I don`t know his skills, got no answer from his owner until now. Not easy to create a tactic without all the skills. Of course: Ripken has to be really strong! And 4-5 other strong defenders make me happy. No problem here.

3) The midfield
There are 3-4 good players. But not more... Not an easy situation. I hope to have no red cards and no injuries during the WC-Quali.

4) The strikers
Gene West... Where is the witcher to raise his form? ;)
We have 2-3 good strikers, the absolut "bomber" isn`t there. But I think we won`t have big problems in the attack I hope.

The oppunent
Pilipinas has an experienced coach. Tsolias always plays really compact. Means: Strong defense and fast attacks through the middle. Sometimes their players also go on the wings.
To be honest: I don`t like to play against such teams. Its always hard, and the question is: Shall we play offensiv and take the risk to become overrun? Or shall we play with a strong defense and set all on a 1:0 win?
I am thinking about that and created 3 tactics until now.
The feeling tomorrow will decide how we play.

Kick-Off
Will be at 7:30 us-time (right?).
So: enjoy the game during eating breakfast ;)

Is beginning of season, mate.Everyone have squad problems before first WCQ match.
We have better squad, so i think, is'nt the match that could make us sensation of fear.Will be much more difficult matches than this.
So, don't lose some points here, cause i am ready to come in your place:D

Idk what's up with his form though it was always relatively high until the end of the season...

Yes!
First 3 points are in.
Solid game from our team today against a not really much weaker oppunent (3marks difference).
But: We didn`t give them any chances and scored twice.
Only one thing is sad today: The injury of Master. I wrote before the game, that there are only 3-4 good midfielders.
Now we have the problem...

Excepting the 19-th min and 40-th min occasions of Philipinas the team had'nt problems.

The tactic with the winger worked really well. Good game from the central midfielders - they played the balls often perfectly on the wing. Next week I will surely have to play different, now we have the first win.
And I am quiet sure, that Pilipinas will take few points from Uruguay or Italy. The tactic really isn`t so easy to play against.

I haven't watched the game but noticed West scored so it must have been a good game
