Asunto: [NT]anaconda

Hello, my friends. As you may have noticed, election time is here once again.
I've decided to take my chance and run for election.

Some of you might not know me, even though I have this team for a couple of months (already promoted to the A league :) ), I've first registered to sk on 2006-06-20 (this was my team, as you can see in history section).
Managed to reach the romanian first league, but my main point of interest was (and still is) the national teams. I was the NT Coach of Romania U21, Romania, Israel and Nederland, my greatest performance being the world cup win with Romania.

Of course, all of these happened a while ago, but sokker is like riding a bike :) except the bike is on fire and the match engine doesn't care about what you do :)

And I'm thinking about a NT betting contest, maybe the users will like the idea and start posting more. The usual prize is selecting a player to play a game or two for the NT, I'll think about others too.

Do you feel your weakness will tarnish the NT side? The full NT has had strong managers in the past, none as weak as you :P

anaconda, did you "coach" your way to A league in one season? or 'daytrade' your way in one season?
while I have nothing against making a quick 500K on a player or two, one can NOT daytrade an NT team to success.

you may be a quality team manager, but does that translate to NT team coaching?
(also, sadly, promoting to A League does not have the same cache' as it did 5-10 seasons ago)

You're right, the B league is really weak, you don't need skill to promote. I also bought 3 players especially for the quali game, otherwise I would have lost because 18yo players would have played instead.

"Back in the day", the romanians thought the exact opposite :) with the club team, my best performance was one season in the first league and I think quarterfinals in romanian cup and that's it.

I think the game didn't change too much since I was NT coach, admins say greg doesn't answer any mail anymore. And it's fair to say I have proved myself as a NT coach :)

I know that anaconda would make a good NT coach, just giving him some grief and seeing how he responded to mild criticism.

however, will he be better than other candidates? honest question.

I don't know his skills, but looking at his age and value, he looks promising :)
However, i don't make promises, i use the best players i have available. I used to make exceptions if the owner asks me not to use his player in a game, because he has an important league/cup/quali game.
