Looks like I got my weeks a bit messed up last time but oh well.
Thank goodness for Tug Brand (Last season I don't think I ever said that). He has found his foot and boy has it been nice lately. After going down 0-2 after COUNTLESS missed tackles (I'm sorry, are we playing formidable/formidable defenders or something?), we caught a break with 2 penalty shots back to back to end the first half.
From there our boys held on and Brand put away a finisher in the 85th minute to close out the Russians.
We definitely had more chances than that with a lot of close 1 on 1s with the keeper so I would've liked more goals, but hey we'll take it. This could bolster us up another rank possibly, but we'll have to see how everything else shaped up. Either way, definitely a good win for us to move us closer towards closing out the season! Hopefully top 32 is locked in by now :)
