If I saw a guy flipped that often, I'd stay away.

normally yes, but between price paid, his database record and skill levels that he was at (brilliant) this purchase made a perfect sense at the time. it also turned into decent profit after just 8 weeks.

I believe those skills levels pay disproportionately more than a previous skill level

Well, in Lex's case the guy took a bath selling to you, so I can understand your purchase there.

Even if all of your skill pops got him back to 2 million, that's a great profit/ time

I usually stay from guys that get flipped too often also.

with the young players right out of school - i think it is tough to find a talented one. if player is talented id assume they would be marketed or kept.
but i did see some folks earn tons of money on flipping 16yo

At least till half of season there's no such thing as 16yo with proven or close to proven talent since most come out of youth school in 2-4 weeks since joining so it's impossible to even try and measure the talent. And people usually list their 16yos straight after youth school.

That's where you can make a lot of money or lose a lot of money.
People with top budget usually go for the highest sumskill 16s and they often lose a lot of money.

Week 4 of last seasons one 3x 5 ATT went for 22 081 619 $, Karl Achim [39457754]. I doubt he'll get half of it back.

Week 4 of last season one mid went for 13 461 250 $, Osvaldo Cruzata [39457328]. Then he was resold for less than 25%, 2 520 369 $. Obviously terrible talent.

IMO it's crazy to pay top money for fresh 16s. Much better to get a good but not top for price below average and check the talent. If you get something close to 3.5, then you're golden.

I've got two end of season 16s for 390 150 $ and 900 000 $, both turned out to be very talented and additionally got fast random pops after buying. Now they've turned 18 and one of them I'm selling for 10 000 000 $, the other will probably go between 15 000 000 $ and 20 000 000 $, depending on luck and how many people will be interested. Hard to make this kind of profit on any group of players except for 16s.
