he used the same players that played in previous games, there are no new players, so there are only 3 possible reasons for higher rating:

a. better forms of players than in previous weeks

b. change of formation (more ATTs/winger make the rating higher even though the team quality doesn't change)

c. higher ratings of individuals due to circumstances

Cleveland got 79 because he played short time & had low DEF intensity because he played as winger, last time in NT he had 71 rating, so 8 lower
Ripken got 83 because he came off the bench, last time in NT he has 76, so 7 lower
that's +15 on individual ratings in just 2 players
