Honestly (and my view on transfer values seems to be in the minority in this game), I think he's already borderline overpriced.

Silly, but I make my own mistakes sometimes. All of the knowledge I have of player analysis still isn't flawless, sadly.

Normal price, maybe even still a small bargain at this point if the extra trainings from public note are legit. Has close to a season of extra trainings in him.

The fact that he was worth much less in the past means only that he is probably nicely talented and overtook other players in his age category / looks better than he did when younger. Look at his value jump from 1st to 2nd transfer.

Transfer value can easily be a factor of luck.

Sometimes yes, but I don't think he is at the moment overpaid

Notice a couple of things:

a. huge extras, equal to around +3 in MID sumskill
b. suitable for wing creation
c. all those other transfers you see in Geston's DB are from seasons 70 & 71, he is the only one at this level from current season, except for Nazar Reva (who had -3 in wing skills without counting the extras)
d. most of those players form DB are from further weeks (8-13), we have now week 5, huge difference in actual level of player between week 5 (and huge extras) vs week 13 (and little extras)

compare him to other top mids from this season (and have in mind his extras)

Szczurowski went as a bargain, same with Dziamgot, others' prices are showing that his price is pretty normal (especially if you consider him as ss 63/64 which is his actual level)

The more you narrow down the search, the smaller your sample size, of course. 24 is semi-comparable, but 22 isn't because the value is so much more.
Also, we can't know what some of those easier pops this season are in. Could be his low scores (defense, striking) - in fact this is more likely than not (only owner knows, and he's not really saying). It's only clear that one of those pops are pace.

He's only had one gen pop in both striking and defense. Those are due. All of a sudden his extra skill trainings don't look quite so hot.
