Asunto: [U21] Gold Cup U20

Today we will play the U20 Gold Cup final against Mexico. Our opponent today has a similar potential to ours (similar number of users and junior schools) so any result is possible. In the history of matches against Mexico, we have won 5 times, drew 2 times and lost 10 times. The last time we played against each other was at the inauguration of the last U21 World Cup - we won 1:0, but this time we will see completely new players on the pitch. In our team everyone is healthy and ready to play. You are invited to the match.

Cuba U21 was theoretically better than USA U21, but still... USA U21 won (on merit, not luck).

I'm excited for this match. I sat Kozar yesterday so he would not get reinjured for this match and miss more U21 fixtures. It took me 2 seasons to finally get him from tragic to superdivine form!

Unfortunately, today we lost in the final of the U20 Gold Cup against Mexico 1:2 and finished second in the tournament.
The match started well for us, we were winning 1:0 after Terrance Cochrane's goal in the 35th minute of the match.
Mexico quickly leveled the score at 1:1 3 minutes later. In the second half in the 58th minute of the match our opponent scored the second , decisive goal.
In the 70th minute of the match we changed our tactics from 5-3-2 to 4-4-2, but the score did not change again.
During the match, two of our players suffered injuries. It was not our lucky match. Our opponent had 4 shots and 2 goals, while we had 5 shots and only 1 goal.
In the match for 3rd place Cuba defeated Panama 3:0. We finished the tournament in second place winning silver medals.
We won 5 matches and lost 1, goals 17:2.
