In my opinion, tactics that use a vertical attack have an advantage in the Sokker engine. I think your game philosophy is correct, as you use a vertical attack.
- A vertical attack results in faster attacks, so you can attack more often and shoot more times. If you have fast forwards, and the opponent's defense is high, this style of attack is very efficient.
- On the other hand, it is a more predictable style of attack. If your opponent has a defense with little risk, you will lose the ball more, or often shoot from greater distances, which makes this style less efficient.
In my opinion, you are vertical, but you are excessively vertical. In a perfect world, where defenders have 18 passing and 18 creativity, your strategy would perhaps be the best in the world, as your players would be able to do what you want them to do. But in the real world, players aren't perfect. In the real world, each player can only have more specific roles, as they only have a few good skills. Therefore, I think that central midfielders sometimes lack the ability to initiate plays, as they have less possession of the ball than they should.
I'm not sure about this, but I have the impression that sometimes you could choose better defenders from a defensive point of view, but you choose defenders with more ability to have the ball. For your tactics, this is important, but as you could choose better defenders from a defensive point of view... I think the USA could concede fewer goals.

I will also add that there are currently 7 injured players in the squad, including two of the best midfielders and one of the best defenders, the best strikers are out of shape, so there has been a lot of turnover in the squad lately and the best possible players are not playing in it (due to injuries, cards and forms).

The national team has a lot of potential, because the first team already has a 24-year-old goalkeeper, three 25-27-year-old defenders, and a 27-year-old striker. If we played in the U27 tournament, we would have a very good chance, because such players already play in the basic team, but it is still TOP They are a bit lacking and require a few more training sessions, so in 2-3 seasons the national team should reach a higher level.
