I was a little surprised to see that a country that small user base wise could be the 5th ranked team in the world.
Serbia has an important place in the Sokker world.
My personal opinion. A 4-man defense should not be played against any opponent at the NATIONAL TEAMS level. Also, when the opponent has an effective winger, a 4-man formation will lead to defeat. Also, because the 4-man defense played very close to each other, the Serbian winger made exactly 4 assists. They missed even more.
Coaches from top countries like Poland, Romania, Italy can play with a 4-man defense against weaker opponents.
However, for developing countries like the USA (in Sokker), it will be problematic to line up with a 4-man defense.

Yeah, the game at the highest level is sadly predictable. 5 man defense is basically mandatory because of how broken a good winger can be. Especially against better teams. The only way you can get away with it, I think, is if the opponent plays one striker.
You haven't really experienced this in America, because you've always had the best team (save for when Dinamo was up here).

Do we have another thread where NT coach writes about results of the games and gives updates etc? U21 updates I can find easily but cant find anything for USA NT
