„ With your help we will qualify for the World Cup.”

What kind of help are you expecting from community?

Also can You share with Us Your plan of developing Our players?

What kind of help are you expecting from community?

First of all, voting for me

Second, continue training USA players.

Also can You share with Us Your plan of developing Our players?

The players who play for the NT are at the end of their training and I can't contribute much.

I can guide the younger players (22-25 years old) who need to help the NT in the future, but the most important thing is to reach the best performance from our players to qualify for the next WC.

I aprecciate your vote.

Do owners still need to be a PLUS member to actually run the team?

or is that not a thing anymore.

UPDATE - turns out it is not a thing. Which is surprising to me since it seems to be a gripe on other forums with some regularity. Strange.

When You say You can guide younger players what do you exactly mean?

Do You believe that advancing to World Cup is higher priority than growing the pool of players that NT manager will be able to use in the future?

How much money are You willing to spend to acquire and train Our players?

According to You when does the training of NT player end?

Also given You are elected: how would you like your term to be judged, what would be a deciding factor, on whatever your term is considered successful or not?

I'll send messages to the users and explain to them that they should train the potential NT player.

Both things are very important, but now I want to find the best performance to qualify with the current players.

How much money are You willing to spend to acquire and train Our players?

Honestly?? This is not important to me.

There are many users who know how to train our players very well, here and the rest of the world.

According to You when does the training of NT player end?

At the end of 29y

Next season?? The only success is to qualify

Personally, I do not understand why training players or having a youth school is a requirement for being NT coach. Previously a NT coach was elected who did not have a youth school nor any NT players or prospects. I am a believer in YS but I also understand YS requires a lot of luck so I can understand people who do not have it (this of course does not apply to Andre)

Also, does it really matter if a player is trained by a NT coach or by another team? result is the same - player gets training either way and talented players will find their way to NT. Training a player for NT takes many seasons and NT coach is elected for just 1 season.

I think most important is getting good results (tactic) and reliability (i.e. coach becoming a bot etc) and working with the community of players about developing players.

IMHO, the only critical training period is before age 22. By 26, training dropoff is really meaningful. Buying an NT player at age 24-25 might have limited value, but 26 on, it's pointless. At that point the player's either going to be a player or not.

I've found this out the hard way (more than I anticipated).

Sokker Assisente, the build tool I use, underestimates player training losses from age 26 on. Because I used a bunch of subpar trained players early on (due to just starting the game) I was counting on training them until 28 to make them decent. However, the tool that projects skills long term - turns out it is only accurate through age 25. There's like a 11-13% penalty it doesn't factor in for age 26 training...and obviously 27 is worse, just not quite sure how much worse.

For me, I don't plan on training players after 27 years.

I agree. In fact I don't think going past 26 is smart. However, if you have an elite talent like I have in Cavalieri, who came out of YS at 20...I kinda have to. Although I will probably sell him when I reboot the team in two seasons.

If you manage to acquire mostly talented 17 year olds, you shouldn't really need to go past 26. Less for defenders and goalkeeper, obviously. Midfielders are the real bear.

It's ok, but if you have an American NT player you can train him until 29/30y.

you can, but the efficiency is poor.

For example, at age 29, you will level a skill (any given skill) at twice the time it would have taken at age 25. So take a midfielder with magical (fresh) playmaking going into age 29. According to my present known math/calculations (which can always be off, II learn more about back end things every season) - He literally wouldn't pop to unearthly if you trained him the entire season at it. Might get it during the following offseason. PM and passing are by far the most generous skills that would be conducive to this.
Defense and tech skills are 15% more costly. Striker, 30%.

Best reason I could ever justify doing this is to keep his pace training going in the hopes you can mitigate skill losses, although for pace, those begin at 28. Obviously the odds of drops are lower at 28-30 than 33-35.

(edit) I could see training a midfielder to 28 just because it takes that long to get a couple divines unless you are able to find a super talented 16 or early 17 year old.

Unrelated:

I am going on record as voting for Andre.

I have watched him closely over the 4 seasons I've been up here. Yes, he's had a top team all the while, but he's achieved the results expected. I've watched him evolve over these seasons and become a more dynamic manager, coming up with various formations (I can't REALLY gameplan for him as easily as I could early on - then again it mattered less my team was so subpar I suppose).

I've also noticed subtle changes in his lineups from game to game both against me and other good sides. He's even won games late this season while actually playing subs this season.

I am 100% convinced he's got the tactical acumen for the position.

--

Although I can understand the thought process behind wanting a national U21 coach to invest in the team he manages, this really doesn't make a ton of sense to me at the senior level. By age 25/26, if the players are already built well, the odds of them being 'screwed up' are pretty small. As a one cycle U21 coach for Israel I was tasked with trying to rebuild the poorly developed team. As such, I've seen many U21 kids get messed up because they weren't elite talent and rich teams just stash them just to advance train them 9 of 13 weeks (why, I'll never understand). Or they'll do dumb things like having great passing and PM but no pace. By 28? Maybe not a big deal, but for U21? useless. You make zero plays on the balls you don't get to.

The senior NT manager should have one and only one skill - tactical match acumen. Someone who I think is best capable of achieving what is possible with the team he has.

Triglio may not be a poor alternative, I've watched a couple of his linked matches, but nothing stands out to me. When he managed Italy earlier this year, he had a top tier team, beating Brazil largely due to just regular match RNG using conventional formations is not really a crowning achievement to me. His time as Mexico manager, few results were real upsets. His win over Brazil with Mexico is pretty good, until you notice he got 4 goals on 5 shots. RNG is going to RNG, just look at Blue's hilarious relegation.

Do I think Triglio is capable? Yes.

Is it enough to override the selection of the best American manager in the country today? No.
Andre will be committed, as a fellow American he's got a vested interest more than Triglo. Yes, Triglo's promised to buy players - but what if he wins and he doesn't? Then we have the second best manager running the team. Not worth it.
