Dev Diary 82: Automatic release of NT-players from bot teams.
Since time immemorial, the Sokker community has been complaining of the fact that when a team loses its owner, the development of many promising players has been severely hindered. In the past, we tried to address this issue by giving administrators additional tasks, but there was no doubt that this solution was far from optimal.

Last weekend, we began testing the automatic transferlisting of u21 national team players from bot teams. This weekend, you can expect the full implementation of this feature.
We believe this long-awaited functionality will positively impact many aspects of the game.

We have divided the players into two age groups: U21 and seniors, applying different criteria for each group to determine whether a player is eligible to be listed on the transfer market.

Players under 21:
- will be listed on the transfer market every Saturday, regardless of the season week,
- only if they are either, currently called up to the national team OR having played at least one match for the country.


it would be a good idea to go through all the teams and see what we got there. All we need is a NT call up and we will be able to free up a lot of USA talent.

You and mustafaatik could split (odd leagues/even leagues) and search for players that could potentially be Our stars. We need to establish threshold for each age group. Go through all the leagues one by one. It doesn't need to be done right away, rather gradually throughout the season.

Looking for some impute from our local community,..

Since I am aware there is a lot of interest in developing our young talent..
I would be interested in hearing how you all would like to balance that with our rankings..
In friendlies.. would you rather me fully concentrate on developing our young players.. / winning/ or a balanced approach?

Obviously we have 3 weeks of friendlies.. then our world cup run/ victory.. Tad we are counting on popcorn for the celebrations!
We will win.... You can take that to Vegas! $$

then we are into the cope America cup .. which, I believe we can win.. or use for training... it's up to you all.. but My vote would be to win it.

Ps... Opinions.. I have always believed training really slows at 25 and virtually stops at 27... If you believe otherwise let me know, and I will adjust the numbers I am using to implement the decisions above.. Thanks!

afaik friendly NT do not contribute to training - only official NT games.

There are no injuries in NT friendlies.

oh that I didn't know!

I did this with Israel and it gimped all of our modest world cup results.

The unfortunate truth is every game matters. It's lame especially for u21. They do have informal tournaments for u20 but outside of that you just have to reach out to opposing coaches and try to have an agreement... and hope they respect it.
