Are you seriously considering selling Stokes?
His age will probably hurt his TL value, too.
You're right, though, he's not worth training in playmaking. If you sold him now, my guess is that he brings $60-80k.

Not really. Unless somebody offered me an outrageous amount. It took me 10 seasons to finally sell my nat teamer in Hattrick. But every so often I would dangle him out there to see how much I could get :)
Well, you would definitely get at least $3 million.
Sure could make a lot of improvements to the team with that.......
But then again he does a great job for my team. Would hate to see him go.

If this was hattrick, I would list Stokes for 5 million or so. And if somebody wanted him for that, they could have at it. But here you get stuck with a good sized charge. So I can't dangle him around like I do my guys in hattrick.
The problem on this game is that the VERY good SK players just don't have that big a market. There are only a few teams that can afford the few million a stud is worth, and if they don't happen to be shopping during the 48 hours you've listed the player then you get stuck. I almost think that any really excellent players can't be sold until the number of excellent (aka rich) teams grows a great deal.
I've got one 18 year old defender who is outstanding with decent secondaries. By the end of this season, he'll be special. But I don't know that I can find someone willing to spend enough to buy him for enough money to be worth selling him.

Here are his stats. I want to wait until his secondaries are better.... (esp passing, stamina & technique) :)
Juras Majauskas , age 18
value: 219 500 $, wage: 2 250 $
unearthly form
poor stamina,
good pace,
unsatisfactory technique,
hopeless passing,
incredible defender
average playmaker
unsatisfactory strike

Yeah get that technique up and i'll give you 100k.
He's young, get his tech to at least adequate and get his stamina up. He'll definetely be National team Caliber.
Remember that skills train faster at low level. It will only take 1 to 2 weeks to get him to poor.
Right now he could go for 500K!

itl take a few more seasons for the sk transfer market to mature. i wasnt there playing back then to know it, but i would imagine hattrick wasnt built in a day either
