Asunto: »[Junior]USA Youth Roll Call

2006-06-19 02:22:02
Honestly, until the change this past week (afterwards, i don't know yet), the best player would have come out as a talented 16 year old and been trained by a team in what the team wanted. I'd love a young uber-talent.

Hey, mebbe that's why i murdered wallace - i was annoyed how long he was perculating in my youth so i killed him before he could come out as incred.

*puts a checkmark on the calendar*

There's our daily Wallace reference from guac.

Hey, i'm gonna start talking about some new players now that i've gotten like 10 new guys on the team.

My favorite is a future superstar named IRENE :)

Wow. You really DO have something for "wussy" men.

For a new team like my own is it worth keeping the average/adequates?

junior skill level weeks
Josh Abbott adequate 13 reject
Wes Conway adequate 19 reject
Timothy Harlan adequate 23 reject
Nick Keck good 24 reject
Arizona Vito average 24 reject
2006-06-22 17:09:02
keep`em all...
2006-06-22 17:15:55
Based on 5 to 6 weeks per pop even Josh will reach solid when he comes out the school. They are all good, if talented Nick could be a jewel, talented players pop every 3 to 4 weeks.

Frederick Bennett , age: 19
value: 42 750 $, wage: 750 $
club: Havoc FC, country: USA
very good form

weak stamina, tragic keeper
unsatisfactory pace, good defender
average technique, weak playmaker
weak passing, adequate striker

Bennet was a Very Good youth pull. As good a defender as he is, I just don't a place for him. So, onto the transfer list with him.

I missed out on last week's postings, so let me add a couple of youth's from last week:

Anton Vanderbilt , age: 18
value: 25 250 $, wage: 600 $
club: Havoc FC, country: USA
adequate form

hopeless stamina, tragic keeper
average pace, poor defender
average technique, average playmaker
poor passing, poor striker

Vanderbilt came out as a good pull - popped every 6 weeks with a formidable youth coach. Going on the transfer list as well.

Cecil Meola , age: 18
value: 75 750 $, wage: 975 $
club: Havoc FC, country: USA
outstanding form

tragic stamina, tragic keeper
adequate pace, adequate defender
average technique, adequate playmaker
solid passing, poor striker

Meola was an excellent pull - popped every 5 weeks. Definitely keeping him.

I've got a couple of older youths that I'm ready to let go of - I'll post about those on the Transfers board.

Ouch cody, he's harsh. He'd make a good striker trainee probably. He needs stri and pace and would be worth a lot.

I'd say keep him till he's vg or excellent striker. Hell, i'll buy him at that point and train pace.

Defense, playmaking, and tech are all important to strikers and he has them all. So really he needs pace a lot and needs to excel in stri.
2006-06-23 01:35:46
Heck yes, with that amount of time left they could come out formid or better. Especially Nick.

Look for solid+ when they emerge from the youth squad. If you have someone training quickly, i keep goods (a 17 year old good who trains quickly is a great one to keep to train yourself). If you have an avg that's not popping quicker than 7 weeks, nuke him.
2006-06-23 01:36:21
Btw, it's the 2nd pop that counts - ignore the first unless it takes too long. He could be average+50% and then pop in 4 weeks but really be an 8-week talentless fool.
