Don't keep players who won't come out at least solid (ie the avg pull was a waste of money). They aren't sellable.
i do not agree on that. especially the 16y old has some potential, if talented. for a beginner.
How would he figure if that 16 year old is talented? He doesn't know if the player is talented until he's been sitting for weeks in the youth squad at 1k/week.
At any given day there are quite a few players that end up getting sold for a few thousand, maximum, who are better than any average pull.
To verify that he has potential, you have to wait a MINIMUM of 4 weeks (if he pops in the first week and then has a second pop in the minimum possible based on highest talent of 3 weeks). You're more likely to not know the talent for sure for 7-8 weeks (two pops, average talent of mebbe 5).
So if you figure mebbe 1 in 5 players is talented, now we're looking at what, 40K worth of fees?
That's my math on it.

so what? how much would you have to spend on transfers to find some broadly skilled 16y old who is talented?
anyhow i don´t keep players, that don´t come out vg or better, but that´s my opinion. he is new to this game and enjoys his first youthpulls. don´t take all the fun from him;-) it´s not all about maths here, fortunately. if this 16y old guy is talented, he will be a nice player in two years;-) than he still is just 18y old and worth much more than this lousy 40k.
imho of course. personally i would not keep them.

This guy came out of my YS last week. I'm going to be training pace for a little while, so I think I'm going to try to pop him in pace twice before selling him.
