I'm happy to report I found a solution to this... The Forums! I tell my wife that I have a rich social life with lots of other football (aka soccer for some) enthusiasts talking about stadium sizes and player salaries,... and that beats going out with your mates to the local pub and accidentally getting plastered and snogging some girl which just happened to be there. How long have you been with your spouses not to learn that emphasising the positive sides in every situation might bring clemency and agreement? Give it a try... ;-)

My wife doesnt mind my gaming at all. Cost effective entertainment. She's a former gamer, but hasnt had any interest in them for about 8 years now.

She got really into sims online back when it was new, and it burned her out.

Yes. It is a very strange country to be in. My parents should not have moved here.

My girlfriend hates this game too, but she knows sk is part of my life :)
