you'll be lucky if Priest is still managing it actively this season. I know him from another game we're both in.
The guy has a lot of rl stuff going on, if you hadn't noticed, he lost like 2/3 of his starting defense this past offseason due to being inactive.
Priest is a great manager when he has time, but you just picked essentially a dead team to join at this point.
Although it could be argued that its better then joining a team in B league, which is basically where I am at :)
