x3wid: I know that when its below 90% i lose training effiecienty, but how many times a week to I have to train it to keep it there? I currently train it once a day becuase it kept falling to low, but once a day seems like to much.

I would like to know that too ...

I was trying to do full days of the same thing for those consecutive bonuses, but maybe I am doing it wrong.

What I would do is to train fitness in consecutive slots until you reach 100% (1x = 8, 2x = 18 (total), 3x = 30 (total) I believe), then train 5 slots as skill training, then one fitness to get back to 98%. Then train your normal skills again. Repeat. Use your "Having fun" to get an additional 4% fitness once a week.

I don't have a set-in-stone training program so i just train fitness when i need to.

I tend to train fitness on the day we goalie train.

I also do a sole fitness session right before my friendly every week. I find that it helps keep my fitness level higher throughout the week and I want to believe improved training.

Many weeks I end up only needing two of the three goalie sessions on Saturdays to get myself back at 96% or higher.

Conventional wisdom says do fitness 3 straight sessions all day, and gain 30% health back...but to me, doing so means your fitness sucks on thursday and friday (thus reduced eff training) so I'm doing the one session during the week now.

yes, you lose efficiency for training under 90% fitness. the higher your level is the more efficiency is lost, so for the lower levels its not too big of a deal if you train in the 80s

2007-07-12 07:07:29
i'm ranked 18th in USA :P
2007-07-12 11:12:49
LOL, footstar is really forwardstar, for now.

Thats exactly why I chose to be a defender...to shut down those damn primadonnas. :)

National rankings are really irrelevant, it's a matter of who gets the most playign time in league, its not based on actual talent ;)
2007-07-12 19:52:08
I'm ranked #10 in the world :), #2 in the USA.

However, my skills aren't all that great.
2007-07-12 19:56:44
exactly, ranking doesn't mean crap as of now.

I'm ranked 611 nationally, but I'm guessing I'm actually not that bad in skill :) I should be dinging 10 tackling this weekend, and just turned 18.

The stupid rankings, like the presently retarded match engnie, are skewed towards strikers to begin with. It wont be like that forever.

Oh, I just dinged 10 tackling today. That's what I'm talking about. I'm gonna nail 10 speed early next week.

yea rankings are jacked. im ranked 400 something but if you took a look at me id for sure be at least top 50. its because a large part of rankings have to do with performances in matches, and i sit myself out a lot so i dont lose fitness. im not missing out on goal/assist/match bonuses because my wage doesnt work like that, so im happy with the advantage im gaining in training by not losing fitness in matches, hopefully the strat pays off in the long run
2007-07-13 11:35:43
if you aren't a forward, you shouldn't be losing much fitness anyway, for the most part.

at least thats my understanding of it.
You can also set your player to 'not burn extra fitness' which again, if you aren't a forward would work just fine against many opponents which are CPU.

I don't get match time simply because my team's too good ;)
2007-07-13 17:06:05
i know how to play. id lose 5~10 fitness a game with playing it easy sometimes. thats about 1 fitness training, multiplied by tons of matches ive sat out so far = a lot of additional non-fitness training ive been able to do

i signed up, still haven't been confirmed. Probably don't have the time tho, anyone wanna be my mentor?
