Have had a few answers to this recently and the answer has been found :).

4th clue being posted up now. Hopefully this opens things up for more answers. Remember everyone still has time, despite the answer having already been discovered by one user, hoping a few more get it now :).

5th and final clue for this round is going up now. You now have until this time tomorrow to submit your answers. Quite a few have answered it correctly now, so you never know you might be the next ;).

Got tied up with other things but here's the standings after the first round. If you think something is incorrect regarding your own score feel free to skmail myself about it :). The next question will be up tomorrow morning (and you can hold me to it as well :p), just trying to work out a few things for it first and have it a little bit more encouraging for other people to enter.

Question coming up in about 30minutes. I know the question but I'm trying to work out the answer to it before I post it up :).

Q. We all should know that this is Australia's 8th season in NT but what we might not know is how well we have fared against opposition teams. I have constructed a table showing how we fare against each (home and away I might add) and then have ranked it in a particular way which will not be discussed other than it's fairly logical. On the top of this list sits Hellas whilst England sits bottom, but the question I impose is this. What nation sits 13th on this list. I selected 13 for two purposes. That it is my favourite number and also today is the 13th of December and that was chosen before I ranked the nations to remove any bias I might have.

I will also add as an aside this only considers up to and including the match against Bulgaria last Saturday.

This will work the same way as before I will give you clues everyday, although if people are prepared to spend some time it is possible to solve without any clues.

Also if it is alright by you people, I've allowed Achmid to enter for this round as they are totally oblivious like the rest of you are as to what the answer is because I worked on this question alone. If there are any serious objections let me know :).

Clues:

1. The nation I speak of has qualified for the world cup at least once and has scored more goals against us then we have against them.

2. This nation has never made the world cup semi's but has managed to qualify out of the group stage. Also we have never beaten this nation when we have played them with us having the home advantage. (Up at 2007-12-14 7:33)

3. In terms of goals against this nation, there is an interesting thing to note. We haven't had a midfielder,defender or goalkeeper score against them, and the most goals (cumulative) scored by any particular player is 2, and that is shared by more than 1 player. (Up at 2007-12-15 10:52)

4. Against this nation there has only ever been a margin of at most 1 goal difference between us at the end of the match. Similarly their top league and cup have been dominated by a very selective user base recently, all based in the same region. By dominated I refer to top place finishes and cup winners. 5. We have never been drawn in the same qualifying group or played at any world cup against this nation but have played them six times. (Up at 2007-12-17 12:12)

I'd just like to add, the only reason I do not know this Qn, and that possibly in the future (still discussing with cometer) he wont know the 4th Qn, is so we have a very slight chance of having a player play in the competition match.

If you really look at it, anyone who stays active int he competition should in theory beat both of us as we will only be competeing in one round out of the 5.

Damn, too much work and too time consuming for me to try and work out manually..

took myself about 50 minutes to do but it certainly isn't easy as such but it is easier than the first round :). Thought the sokker zone magazine question took longer myself ;).

I'll wait the next clue! )
