FGR has officially gone bot. hopefully this means i can edge them out on the final day by beating them by a somewhat wide margin, depending on goal difference. but looking at the way things are now, and if the trend continues, i only need to beat them to go to qualifiers :)

'tis a shame to see one of the past great clubs go bot. They never really did get into the whole tactical side of the game much though.

i think andrew seaman, their star frontman, is still top in the scoring tables though...

Atleast they will stay in div 3 for a while, giving the div 3 sides something to aim for

indeed, goes along with the other great clubs that have disappeared, Coca Kickers, suppose you could consider Boyd Singers another since they've won the A League also, then theres other sides which made the highest league but didn't end up doing much in it like sutcombe.

Add Isla de Muerta to that list

Indeed, knew I was forgetting something :). After all they're the ones who had Willis, Leijer, Moon, Evans (i think) and a lot of other players who have been on the NT roster lately.

I can't believe they left when they did. They would have been really, really scary with that midfield (or even just the majority of that midfield with the others replaced with other positions)

yeah, Terminello's another one I think, but Moon came from Jyuukenbu to IDM.

In many ways, IDM with that midfield today vs TBF with their midfield today would have been an awesome midfield battle. On one side you have all those mentioned, on the other you've got the other half of the Australian midfield in Zdrilic, North,Timpano,Thompson.

things arent really looking up for me at the moment with me needing to beat FGR by 2 goals at least and with my top striker on less than divine form....

if there are no surprises, i would be challenging FGR for top spot next season... again
