Asunto: [NT] Elections - Candidates

I thought I'll get this one started since the election started today... I'm not a candidate but I'm interested by the debate!
Come on people, write your name down and let us know what you would do for our national selection :)

Good luck people! There's only one question - is it going to be cometer, or cometer is leaving his position to one of his assistants.

I would like to give some advice, as I have nice experience with non-wc season, if needed. :)

Without speaking too much for cometer, I have a feeling his plan is to run, unless myself or another well recognised assistant/aus manager decides they would like the title. And in which case, he would step down, but be around if they need advice or would like an assistant themselves

i've decided to run as Australian NT Coach.

now i'm at work..so i'll write all about me later

my career:

-Italian NT Scout of last divisions (Eccellenza & Promozione)
-Russian NT Coach (2 times)
-Italian NT Striker Scout (won the U21 World Cup)
-Latvian NT Coach (2 times)

my team play in Italian Serie B.

I'm not running, at this stage, I just can't foresee myself having enough time to take on the responsibilities of a full time NT coach.

Although I am there for most games, there is the odd week where there is no way, no mater how hard I try, that I cold put in the amount of effort Dave does for the NT.

The only way I would run under these same circumstances is if I believe I was the best for the job, and I know Dave is better for it at the present if he still wants it :P

I'm Mr SpOnKiE.
I'm going to run as Australian NT Coach because i like so much your country(my dream is to live in Sydney),and i want to improve my experience in sokker.I like so much challenges,and i want to try to convice you!

Career:
-My team is Spartak Vespa and plays in Italian Serie B.
-I have got a lot of international experience.I was two times italian NT Scout of the italian last divisions(called Eccellenza&Promozione)
- two times Russian NT CoachIn the first season i arrived 4th place in World Cup Qualification.A very good position for Russian NT,in fact i received a lot of compliments in that season, succeeding to put in difficulty a big team like Estonia for two times!Unfortunately we goes out of World Cup only for the goals difference.In the second season i arrived in third place in New Countries Tournament,an U21 World Cup for little nations.In this season I decided to give the resignations to Russian NT Coach because i think that was the time to change and to give a chance to other managers.
Russian NT has got only 35 users..it was difficultly to play against big country like Polska,Eesti,Italy,Belgium..but anyway, i studied a lot the team opponents and sometimes I succeeded to steal some good results..

Russia-England
Russia-Ireland
Russia Eesti
My career in Russian NT:
win match: 14
draw match: 3
lose match: 13
- After i was Italian NT strikers scout. With coach Sydval and we won U21 World Cup
-Last season i was elected as Latvian NT Coach.It was a hard job becouse Latvia was at the first season with the National Team.During that season i worked a lot for Latvian NT,i made a NATIONAL TEAM DATABASE (With also the extension for firefox..) ,i opened the Latvian NT Forum and every week a post to talk about the match of the Latvian NT.
I publicized a lot of latvian players all over the world,i find a lot of friends who wants to help Latvian NT .
We also made a WORLD SOKKER RECORD,in fact we won 10-0 against Ukraina and this is still a record for a team at the beginning season.We made other victories against India,Ukraina (again) and China,we also a draw a lot of matches and we lost only against oldest teams..
When i began as Latvian NT Coach,Latvija was a little nation,with only 30 users,so we also made a publicity campaign (with the help of "spamboy" gugigans),and now Latvia have got 103 users!.
This season i was re-elected as Latvian NT Coach.It was a hard job to play the World Cup qualifications,Latvia went in the 5th place,not bad result if you consider that Latvia was the youngest National Team in that division.
After this season i decided to go away becouse i lost all my motivations after this big loss for Latvian National Team.I think that a NT Coach should have always 100% of the motivations,expecially for an hard work like that in Latvia,begin again from zero is not always easy and it need a lot of work. In mine "Sokker Career" I began from zero 2 times with Russia and after with Latvia, unfortunately after the loss of a lot of players, I had to begin again from zero (or at least..with a very big gap),so lacked in me the right motivations to go on.:-((((((((

Great introductory thread Mr SpOnKiE.

What happened to the Latvija NT due to a multi-account problem would have been heartbreaking for you, sorry that happened.

I think you will have a tough campaign against the Cometer and team if they decide to run again, but you've certainly provided Australia with a legitimate alternative.

I was thinking if everybody is under the same thread we might get more interactivity between candidates, like you might want to reply personally to one of them, that would allow voters to see it directly...
but feel free to start a thread if you think it would be tidier :)

I have a 22yo potential U23 DM. What information could I get from the DB?

How will your DB help the Australian NT and how is it different to other NT databases?
