Asunto: S12 - Race for Division II

You have to finish first to promote (because the leagues arent the right numbers between div 3 and 4, thats the only difference going from div 4 to div 3)

So If you get into first place, then you will get to have a qualifying match

2 rounds to go only... the finish line is nearly in sight! Many things happened in round12… teams swapping places in the ranking, teams winning titles, kiwis whishing they were aussies, teams increasing their lead, teams striking disaster…

It happened in Div III this week:
- 10 men Larisa concedes a draw 5mn from the end to 3rd ranked Blazers 2-2. They lose their automatic promotion spot after 11 straight wins!
- Meamega. benefits from the above and enter the club of auto-promotees.
- While Sth Adelaide Albion preserved their chance to play a qualifier and win their league title, their draw versus 2nd rank Stamford Rangers cost them two spots on the ladder and would potentially now face the strongest team from DivII.

Things to watch in Div II:
II.1 - Melbourne Magpies(5th) won while Inter Utd(4th) was surprised 1-0 by Tong FC. Only 1pt separates the teams now! (Melb-Inter Rd13)
II.2 – Bushrangers (5th) closes the gap and is trailing Sheffield Wednesday (4th) by 1pt! 2 though games coming for Sheffield Wednesday… TGS and Dragons Utd swap places in the ranking (6th-7th) following Dragons’s win over TGS 3-2.
II.3 - Larikan won and now trails Cumlionibus by 1pt for the 4th place as Cumlionibus draw in the first of its last 3 though games. Tornado smashed CNF 3-0 and take their 6th spot.
II.4 - Bottom 4 of II.4 so close to be secured but in which order still?! A lot of swapping around there…

Things to watch in Div III:
III.1 - Hornsby has a 7pts lead and is declared champion!
III.2 – Murter beat Eleebana 5-0 while New.Knights won. Murter is 1pt behind New.Knights and Eleebana is 4pts behind now. Murter vs New.Knights Rd14!
III.3 - Moo's11 has a 7pts lead and is declared champion!
III.4 - Tupp Uts has a 5pts lead over Canberra who lost last round. Tupp vs Canberra Rd13!
III.5 - Alpine has a 5pts lead over Baldivis who lost vs the 3rd. Alpine vs Baldivis Rd13!
III.6 - Utd Inter has a 4pt lead over Trigger Lads after beating them 4-2 in Rd12!
III.7 – Colt’s smashes Valentine FC(3rd) 7-1 while Direxiv (2nd) lost to Hamilton (4th) 2-0. Colt’s now 5pts in the lead…
III.8 - Snappa has a 3pts lead over Devil's Angels. The two teams meet Rd14!
III.9 - TCL has a 6pt lead over Bar Reef Uts. The two teams meet Rd14!
III.10 - Meameg. has a 3pts over Metal Cow. The two teams meet Rd14!
III.11 – Larissa despite their draw has a 8 pts lead and is declared champion!
III.12 - Da Minkees has a 8pts lead over Yogic and clinch their 1st title!
III.13 – CE Principat leads Rapido by 1 goal on GD still. The two teams meet Rd14!
III.14 – Sth Adelaide Albion still leads Stamford by 1 goal on GD after their clash at the week-end which ended 2-2.
III.15 - Wicked's 11 has a 8 pts lead over Alpine Wind after defeating Fenerbahce FC (ex-2nd) 2-0. Wicked’s 11 plays Alpine Wind nest round!
III.16 - Melbourne Victory is 8pts in the lead and clinches the title!

How crazy is Melbourne Victory FC's season? +107!

The 75 goals scored by Oviedo this season is a decent tally [:OO]

need to hold on and win my last two games.. Newcastle Titan05 and Bushrangers FC

snappa has a 8 goal advantage. unless i can knock 9 past him next week, the title is his. *concedes self to yet another season of divIII and third consecutive time in coming second*

You actually only have to beat me 4 - 0, if that helps any. That will give us both a GD of +28 but you would of scored 2 more goals, if it happens. I don't intent letting 4 in though :p

Anyway some nice results this week I think have put me back into autopromotion position :)

Dont worry mate... this is my 5th season in DivII... hopefully going to push into the AL this season... 2/3 times 2nd to Roar.. Once to Tribe and Chelsea and now 1st this season with the title in the bag as at tonight

i dont think i have put any past you yet as it is >.>

and with my in form striker suspended, as well as my CM back up to SI, im going for a 2 goal loss max. also hoping to put some past your back line

Tigermaster, you should consider yourself lucky you've come first in your 5th season ;)

I'm in my 4th season in DivII... and destined for my worst finish (6th), unless I win by a margin of 3+ goals next week (which is actually possible.) And next season, there's soon to be PRT, Losers and Gondor fighting it out for top spot in II.01, while the rest are realistically aiming at 4th.

Thing is though Tigermaster had about 4 seasons in Div III, so was able to build his side up to cope with Div II by the time he came up :p. He started at around the same day I did and has finished 2nd 3 or 4 times in a row until now.

That saying, I could find myself back in div II if I'm not careful, although would make it an interesting season and give me the chance to have a major rebuild.

Heh... if you have a look at my team history.. you will see 5 Silver Division II.04 Trophies, 1 Silver and 1 gold Division III.01 Trophy, and 1 Silver Australia Cup Trophy...

Will add a Gold trophy to the Division II.04 Collection very shortly =)

Only 3 full seasons in III... I had 2.
