It happened in Div III this week:
- Da Minkees have a lucky break this week, having a soft landing at 5th (as opposed to 9th), as Larisa, Llamas, and wicked 11 were all held to draws this week, while the Colt's lost.
- Lots of movers and shakers... 7 teams (#5-11) have the chance of moving into the top 4, if the stars align...


Things to watch in Div II: (favourites in italics)
II.1 - (Rd13: Magpies 2-2 Inter) Inter will be guaranteed safety if they win next week, against 7th place Civilwar FC. Tong FC can leapfrog Melbourne Magpies into 5th spot if they win by a margin of 3+.
II.2 – Bushrangers pull themselves into the safe zone, while Shef Weds. loses. (Next round, Dragons vs Bushrangers; Jyuukenbu vs Sheffield Weds.)
II.3 - Only 1pt separates Cumlionibus and Larikan. (Next round, Cumlionibus vs TMP; Larikan vs Tornado Tigers)
II.4 - Bottom 4 still swapping around... (Next round, DVS vs FGR; Raging Parabolas vs Taigum Terriers; Boyd Singers vs Frogmeisters)

Things to watch in Div III: (C)=Champion
III.1 - (C) Hornsby
III.2 – Newcastle Knights leads Murters by 1pt. Murter vs New.Knights Rd14!
III.3 - (C) Moo's 11

III.5 - Alpine has a 2pt lead over Baldivis. (Alpine take on 3rd placed Adidas Predators, while Baldivis should win against 6th placed Southside Kings.
III.6 - (C) United Internazionale
III.7 – (C) Colt's
III.8 - Devil's Angels United will overtake Snappa Serpent if they win by 9+ goals in the last round...
III.9 - (C) The Charismatic Llamas
III.10 - Metal Cows will overtake Meamega. if they win by 3+ goals in the last week!
III.11 – (C) Larisa United
III.12 - (C) Da Minkees
III.13 – CE Principat leads Rapido by 2 goals on GD. The two teams meet Rd14!
III.14 – Sth Adelaide Albion has opened up a 2pt lead over Stamford Rangers. (They play against 3rd place Metro FC and 4th place Johan's Men respectively.)

I'm not sure you can say I had a lucky break this week but I see where it comes from... It's lucky several contenters fumbled at the same time that's sure...

For the story it's the second time I lose my GK this season (on top of 7 others injuries). My strikers converted 1 chance out of 27! my 2nd GK has weak passing and pace... He kicked the ball straight to a striker which had an empty goal!! 1-1 at the end... If you add the 8 unsuccesful bids I did to get a decent GK this week you might see where I come from...

Anyway I managed to get a GK 4hrs after the game... as a result someone is getting the kick :)

I guess it's all part of the learning, you're only as strong as your weakest link...

Think of it this way... I'm sure you wouldn't have wanted to join II.01 anyway ;)

you're right about II.1 but to fair I cant afford to be picky either... I just want to go up one level! :)

my favourite is vs that italian striker who at the time played for West Ham... FB simulated an offside from the referee but it didnt work...

- Hamilton Island beat Colt's 5-3 and take their top spot in DivIII.7
- Snappa and Da Minkees are held to a 0-0 by Devils Angels and Yogic. Snappa loses its auto spot promotion and Da Minkees continues its slide down the ladder started 2 weeks ago...
- Larisa takes the 4th auto-promotion spot from Snappa

Well it looks like snappa just made the best decision of his sokker life by getting a draw, as he is now going to play the lowest ranked team in the league won by a bot.

Larisa may regret winning and going up to II.03.

PRT, Gondor and Losers will be fighting for top spot, while the rest are on a relatively level playing field.

I see this qualifier as a huge mountain to climb these days though, especially with converting only 1 of my last 45 shots to goals the last two games...
we'll have a go anyway...
