Asunto: National Team

I'm certainly hoping we perform better than Ireland did. That's my first aim, and then whatever extra we get from there will be great. We just need Norge to do us a favour and beat Ireland.

Hmm , 2 - 0 win wasn't really what I was hoping for. The positive is we still won, but we wasted a lot of chances in the process. Now to sit back and wait for the other games in the group, but really 2 - 0 wasn't what I'd call "going to plan".

Just watched the game myself, and congrats on the victory. Although i understand the disappointment only winning 2-0. I was quite impresses with the defensive tactic of Hellas, but where was they're striker? He was more like an offensive mid. Really strange.

Well yeah, I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. I should have covered their attacking throw ins better though as that often left us on the back foot leaving the defenders with a lot of work to do to clear.

Pretty disappointed with that. The tactic left a lot to be desired. Lucky to get away with a win, imo.

So, not trying to be too hard on you Dave, you got us the win. But I think you'll agree that it was not the best tactic in several areas. Granted they played a good tactic defensively which did the job. Kudos to them.
