Should be an interesting match. Hoping to be able to control possession and dominate the opposition. Not sure how it will go but I'm expecting a win and expect nothing less than a win as well.

Hope we perform a bit better than against Hellas.

First time we've played Malta, so let's make it a 100% record :).

Since you've never lost to Malta, could you not say that Australia already have a 100% record against them?

by definition then, you could also say we have a 0% record against them since we've never won against them ;).

The best way is to not classify it at all until you actually play them.

Hard to complain with a tactic that gets you a 6-0 win and manages to get all of our attacking players close to (in some cases actual) personal best marks. Ando getting a ridiculously low 26% also speaks volumes.

And I picked 6-0 in the comp so, all in all great result.

The only downside is Chris King who had one of those dreaded, single player, kicking the ball under no pressure, injuries to the tune of 26 days.

well a 6 - 0 result is fairly solid. Could easily have been bundles more though with 28 shots to 1.

Tigermaster won't be happy with me for having his star defender injured though. Hate those kind of injuries. I've got one of those in my club side atm as well.

Would have been nice to put a few more chances away but in the end, 6 - 0 isn't bad.

Experimenting with Zdrilic in centre midfield worked extremely well I thought.

Much happier this week than last week, just wished we had of finished more of those chances we had.

Before others mention it, the corner throw ins weren't very good but I'm clutching at straws here :P.

Bwahaha, I expect royalties for Zdrilic in central midfield idea. :P

Zdrilic was maybe good against Malta...cause Malta's players suck. Most NTs mids would dribble past him all the time without a problem.

Yeah, that's why he was played in central midfield and it worked wonders. Would be very unlikely that Zdrilic would be used against stronger nations in that role, but I played him there under strong advice and it worked.

I suppose you could consider this a game where we can only gain. Norge are well ahead of us in rank points, however I think the two teams are closer than they appear to be.

Norge have a very good record in qualification matches winning 15/22 games where as we have only won 9/22 (3 during this campaign alone).

This will by no means be an easy game. This will certainly test how good we are and the result could go either way.

I'm hoping for a competitive game against them, but unlike the past two opponents, I can't guarantee a victory. We have absolutely nothing to lose this week, we're 5 points clear of Ireland at the moment and so can't drop to 4th this week.

On the other hand, a win against Norge will move us into 2nd in the group and will almost be enough to qualify for the world cup.

Few key injuries to both sides but there's always someone else to select from.

Enough said, bring on the match :)

Will be a fun game I think, but have Norge as favorites.

Have to hope for a win for the Aussies as my team is Aussie and I have Amien, but since I am Norwegian and live in Norway it's not that easy to say. Thank God it is only an online game ;)
