Asunto: National Team
depends on the players. If they had higher tech i think the positioning would be great, but yeah. Mind, those defenders were pretty hardcore too...

:'( Paul Ngata wasted, and he was one of my better youth pulls. real shame i didnt start training mids a couple of seasons earlier

Marius Hestad (Norge) - 2
The rematch against Norge. Don't expect we'll win as Norge are stronger than we are but am trying to run it close like last time but hopefully with a bit more luck. We should be able to win 3 of our last 5 games and that is the minimum target I'll be going out to achieve.

Howarth got slightly injured though :(. How will I ever cope in the league now ;).
Awesome result cometer.
Looks a bit like you and the Norge coach are sharing the same playbook but we will definitely take that result. I think your tactic better used space than his slanted line across the park. On a personal note great to see Croxall back in the green and gold and with a nice fat 60 next to his name even if his 2 chances did go astray.
Howarth and Broxton were both huge for us in defense. Ando was a colossus as usual at the back, especially with some of their early chances. All around the park though there were great performances with a tactic that I think really showed off some of our best players.

Yeah, was great to see Croxall again. Can't wait to see the new strikers quartet coming into 1st team: Croxall-Dreger-Hirons-Mitchell. It can change really much in position of Australia. For example Australian defence performs very well, and is still young. Now let's wait for someone to change Pilic - maybe Sean Rex? Andy Haliti? There are a lot of them. Mids - Leijer, Thompson, Willis - new generation of wingers to change North-Timpano-Zdrilic. Quite a big problem is a lack of future central mid star...

Plenty of other guys knocking on the door in the striker department too.
Marco Choony, Wayne Augerinos, Carl Richter, Carl Storey
Unfortunately I think Hirons has dropped off the pace and is unlikely to be anything more than a sub for the next season or 2 at least.
Central mid is a bit of a concern but I think the biggest problem is how thin we are in the GK department. Ando is fantastic but I don't have anyone else even vaguely close to him if he gets injured or gets the dreaded form wasting disease.

Hm..I don't think that they can be a serious 'danger' for the one's I've listed. Though who knows....
GK - that's right...maybe it would be smart to find a GK coach to take over Masi, Stephen O'Neill, and David Santalab...
Though Ando still has about 5 seasons before the skills will start dropping :)

Very nice result. Congratulations!
Like Naphtali, I question the benefits of the "slant" midfield Norway used. The Australian tactic was solid & well executed. :)

In retrospect, i question it too ;)
Congrats on a solid victory Australia. I'm abit dissapointed in my own choice of tactic, but it's too late to do anything now :)

Your mistake was not using Rusten! :p ;)
