Any comment before todays game?

It's going to be entertaining, that's for sure. Our tactic is such that if it works, it'll work in a big way, but if it fails, it'll fail in a big way. But it's a big match for us, and I suppose we're willing to take the risk.
2006-02-25 12:12:34
What on earth are our defenders doing?
2006-02-25 12:28:25
Damn playmaking straight to hell. Incredible and Brilliant playmakers doing the shittiest things I've ever seen.

What difference does striking make when the player cannot control the ball in front of an open freakin' net?!

Passing and technique. NOW!

Gonna watch the match, but how the hell have we lost?! be right back

1)What the f*** was doing Whitehouse on Def-Mid?! What was he doing to do there?! That was place for Parkinson!! who has playmaking and shooting :/
2)Amien from the beginning? Bad idea
3)Seamann - WHAT?! Whe have many better players in att :/
4)Amien doing the freekicks? What? :/
2006-02-25 14:57:45
1) He was Attacking-Mid, lol. And Parkinson's not getting into the squad with bad passing and technique.

2) He's our second best striker, and as such, he should be playing whole games, considering his stamina's up to standards now.

3) I only put him in there because he's our top scorer (lol) and the most rounded attacker after Newhill.

4) Amien has both Passing and Shooting, so I thought that was a good idea.
2006-02-25 15:00:24
The reason we lost was because our midfielders can't pass for shit, and our defenders can do nothing but put the ball out of play.
2006-02-25 15:02:43
Strikers should never, ever take free kicks, even if they are the best players to take them.

By making them take them, the more passing type rather than shot at goal has one less player to knock the ball into the goal, plus if you get an attack, the player will be out of position.

Only those in the middle of the park should take them (never defenders either).

1)It was an off-mid, I know it cause I made that tactic, he was ought to pass and shoot from long range :/ Do you think that Whitehouse could shoot goal from that range? :/

2)But I wanted to use him on defenders without stamina after 1st half :/

3)Esala Hrehoresin has better shooting so I think that he should played :/

4)But he was standing as a forward! If has gone to kick the freekick there was only Newhill to get to the pass :/
2006-02-25 15:05:11
The reason we lost was because our midfielders can't pass for shit, and our defenders can do nothing but put the ball out of play.

Dunno why. They always played the balls right :/
2006-02-25 15:07:25
Oh, didn't think of it that way.
2006-02-25 15:09:42
1) Parkinson wouldn't even have done what Whitehouse ended up doing. He always ends up losing balls consistently, which really irks me, to be honest.

2) You still got to do it, didn't you?

3) He doesn't have the technique level that Seaman has in order to dribble the defenders.

4) I accept that as a mistake, maybe Ozbey should've taken them.
2006-02-25 15:14:51
1)He played 3rd match, and he shot 3goals...and what have done Whitehouse today?

2)hm?

3)Lol :D You won't dribble anyone with this technique in NT so what's the difference?
2006-02-25 15:24:07
Technique isn't just about dribbling past players though, it's about controlling the ball and not having the ball bounce off the player.
