Interesting that we're so high ranked on individual marks.

On another note, the game against Mexico is not going to be easy. I am not really expecting a result today, although it would be really nice and I will certainly try to get a result as I always do, but with a few players out or in shocking form it makes things tougher, along with the chance that they might play Bravo, so it could get ugly. Hopefully things work out though.

Whatever happens, I know you will have tried your best for our current situation, so it should be ok.

Mexico are a hard team to beat since they have had a few very nice pulls, but it is not impossible. Good luck with the match and hopefully we will pull off the 3 points

Everything is set in concrete, as always might be a few tweaks here and there for last minute changes but I'm fairly confident everything is ready.

Thanks to naphtali who managed to obtain a few of the Mexican players (also managed to get a few from other NT's in our group as well), although despite some not likely to play gave me an indication of the kind of level I should expect from them, although there were a few likely starters in that also ;).

Also thanks to Achmid for the input you made into this and hopefully your ideas work for us today in certain situations.

I believe that was quite a promising game. The tactic woked very well and kept bravo quiet as well as the wingers its jsut a shame byers missed some very nice opportunities.

The result was fair but we certainly should have got 1 goal

We just couldn't find the back of the net that game. Created chances but couldn't finish any off. They were able to find the net but we weren't. Credit to their goalkeeper who saved them so often, but the result just didn't happen. Least we weren't heavily beaten either, so it's not too bad a result.

Disregarding a few minor fluency errors, the tactic you used was perfectly done against the tactic they used, you almost totally pwnd them.

That match was a monster match for both keepers, Ando saving the day many times and his counterpart, Yegros, doing the exact same over the other side. I thought Byers played a great match and was very deserving of his highest ever rating, almost all of his shots were on target, but the keeper just kept getting in the way.. damn Butcher!

It was a coin flip game IMO, you just got the wrong side of the flip, bad luck cometer, well played though.

It must be around that time that people are finally watchin the match because ti didnt seem like there was anyone else watching live besides cometer and I :S

Seriously though Bravo's an awesome striker and Mexico have a pretty awesome squad.

What really hurt was the slight misplacements of the defensive wingbacks, particularly from the corner throw ins where they were able to generate the awesome crosses.

Also the central defense sometimes shifted back just a fraction too quickly allowing Bravo the chance to run through for a shot from the edge of the box.

Other than that, seemed to work well but couldn't come up trumps, just wasn't meant to be today but we've still got a rematch against them to get the result we were seeking today :).
